The couplings, Victor/Bike Lady, Huang Shi/Mother Quentin, Song, Yiran/Chu Ting, Xiaoyu/Blu dragged the plot. They made Dr Xie, the SLS for Elise, who was SLS for Oliver. Yiran was SLS for Kesong for many episodes.

The only scenes that were well done, were Uncle Lin's restaurant. Kesong's parents become filler. Some of their conversations were boring. The Yuxuan restaurant workers were filler.

I hope so. Perhaps Li Yan will blow the lid on Elise's sordid plot. He regained his integrity in episode 37. Elise is delulu.

Yes! Things slow down pre and during Lunar New Year. I am also slowing down on the episodes. I was binge watching this drama daily for the last week. I watched episode 33 only today.

He needs to get away from Mother and Sister. I don't see Ma Quentin approving of Bike Lady, though.

Victor justs pops in and out of scenes like a jack rabbit. He was forcing food down the Bike Lady's throat, and that made me gag.

Since she was wearing his PJs shirt, and he was wearing the matching PJs pants only, I thought Elise was going to make insinuations. He has lots of clothes in his closet. Why would she wear his PJ shirt, and no matching pants?

He might have been feeding Oliver, vitamins...refer to episode 33, where he told Oliver the medication was vitamins. He is conspirator in poisoning Oliver. Another doctor might have saved Oliver months ago.

It sounds like they rewrote the entire story, but kept characters' names.
