Why are they giving so much screen time for extra characters
I agree. Huang Shi and Ma Quentin are suddenly lovey dovey, that makes me nauseaus. Victor and Bike Shop Lady are the next couple, and she has some food phobia. Dr Xie has gone into debt for Elise.
One thing I can't stand on this drama it's the most heinous haircut on the ML. Did he chase away the good hairdressers…
The bad hair day detracts from his acting performance. When I look at Oliver, my eyes are drawn to the choppy hair, and not his face. Victor's haircut is worse than Oliver's.
Oliver needs to attend anger management classes. His major negative flaws are berating and imprisonment. These are usual traits in an abusive relationship.
Mr Thomas put up with diva chefs in his long career. He knows Oliver and Boris inside out. He could have blacklisted them already. He is the unofficial father, and they are the truant scions. The other six mentors of the contestants are under the radar. 😅😅😅
Agree, I was enjoying this drama quite a bit. But it's become a frustrating, annoying experience. At first I hoped…
ML and FL are Brat and Doormat. 🤣🤣🤣 Seriously, I have no empathy for Oliver. He is bipolar. In ep28, after he lures her back with the wine gifts, he locks her in the apartment. His treatment of her, is like an abusive relationship. I don't see any humor in that.
If she is living in the apartment (for the life of the slave contract), why doesn't he give her a bedroom? She is living and sleeping in an alcove with transparent blinds for privacy walls. She should be sleeping in Nina's bedroom.
Could someone please tell me how much age difference is supposed to be between the male lead and the female lead?…
In an early episode, it was revealed that he was 33, however in episode 26-ish, Oliver tells Kesong that he is nearing 40. The production can't even get their act together.
The mighty Stairs Of Justice could have done a better job, but seeing Elise fall felt so good already.
She was stupid to run down the wood stairs, wearing six inch spiked heels. Most people would have fallen down the stairs, and broken their neck, and died.
Can someone who has read the novel tell me will Oliver get his taste back?
Oliver is stupid. He should eat a big bowl of ghost peppers, that might activate his tastebuds. After all, that was how Kesong developed her skill when she was a young girl. LOL🤣🤣🤣🤣
There are too many dysfunctional people who are polluting the convoluted plot, and leaving viewers hanging. The only normal people I derect are Uncle Lin and his staff (minus Xiaoyu) and Mr Thomas, Blu's mentor has gone off the rails, and he is chatting up Ma Quentin.
I don't understand how he has been cooking at the restaurant when he has lost his sense of taste?
