Ok, so the first 3 eps, with the bad subs, bad editing it was a bit confusing at first. Now that I caught up with eps 4 - 7 Im giving this a 9.5 for those episodes, really looking forward to eps 8 -12

No problem, I was so confused, I wanted to make sure noone else felt like I did.

Ok, I'm on ep 3 just started, I can tell this is a good drama. Unfortunately, the English subtitles are so sh!tty. Very disappointed with Tencent they should know better, just give the license to viki so we can get HIGH QUALITY SUBS 🙄. Another thing the unannounced time skip from the end of ep1 to the beginning of ep2 was so weird. I thought I skipped a few episodes.

ML starts off very fierce to protect himself, but too innocent and naive with FML, their relationship starts with deception. Which I did not like but because of the "politics" in their realm that couldn't be helped. It grows into a strong Hero and Heroine Power Couple. Overall I gave this drama 9.7 stars the Chemistry started weak and grows immensely as they go through these trials and get on the right track as one.

No not really, we all know she looks at 2ML as a Brother. It was just watching the actor display so many emotions. He had to maneuver through politics, dad issues, loved fml, but understood she was a woman who made her own path, he never forced himself like a weirdo to be with her, he respected she loved ML in the end. He just wanted what was best for her, While trying to be a Leader to his people and dealing with the politics of the realm. Many times he had to make difficult decisions against his heart but he always tried to do what he thought was best. I Love The awesome ML, I didn't have 2ML syndrome, I just grown to respect and love his character.

I have nothing to say about Yang Zi, I'm just not going to let people slander the Character "Chu Xuan Ji" when it was her being the actual REAL VICTIM in the whole show. Si Feng Willingly put himself through those trials, WITHOUT HER KNOWLEDGE. Sifeng being a heavenly Prince as the son of the Heavenly Emperor CHOSE to do the honorable thing for her character to REDEEM THE EVIL that was done to her in HEAVEN. While his father ignored ALL TH EVIL BAILING DID. I Hate that she gets the blame for Everything as a Woman, As soon as she turned into a MAN!! "MOSHA STAR" That is the ONLY time people felt COMPASSION AND EMPATHY for "her". But was okay with All The Brainwashing as a GROOMED GIRL CHILD IN THE MORTAL WORD, Backstabbed by the people she loved and trusted The Most. She was on The Receiving end of All the HATE by ignorant viewers.

I respect your opinion, but I disagree, those particular idol actors you named are good 👍since I watched their work, but I'm referring to acting on a level that is OSCAR worthy. I know many proffessional Korean actors that are Brilliant and Masterful as if they were Born to Act, Their Craft is innate. Im not just speaking on k idols, I say this about many American idols as well.

No disrespect, but Idols are the LEAST Talented "actors and actresses" their shows get famous thanks to kpop fans. Most of their shows are generic weak unintelligent watered down televisoon. Its very RARE A PHENOMENAL GOD GIVEN TALENTED ACTOR or ACTRESS starts off as an idol, Lets be real MAJORITY of them get by with their looks and fanbase.

I came to see if there were toxic fans in the comments. Unfortunately, I was right I just wish I could get MY KDRAMAS, CDRAMAS, KPOP, HIP HOP, etc. Back before The Toxic Stan Wars across the globe ruined social media and all craft and media in general 😔 15 yrs ago everything was so new fresh unique awesome and enjoyable, meeting like minded kind people on all platforms uniting with people all over the world. Now, its psychotic kids obsessed with celebs and think every is there faves opponents or a threat in their mind.

Ending is Not trash, Ending just set it off for S2 I knew we wasnt getting no happy ending yet. We only had 20 lousy episodes Im very happy they are extending this drama to S2, Most fantasy dramas are 40+ episodes.
