It has a sitcom format. I kinda like it for the moment. As an international viewer, I feel like some jokes/references/puns are lost in translation, it's expected. As a watcher of both versions, I feel this version's humor might be less my cup of tea but it's still good nevertheless (I'm more used to Korean style of humor I guess)
TBH, it wasn't love at first sight with 'Gaus Electronics' either. We're only 6 episodes in so I won't comment any further since it's way too early to make a fair comparison between both versions imo... Gaus Electronics is 12 episodes and rather fast paced, this one is 40 episodes long and will take more time to find its pace. Let's wait and enjoy the ride in the meantime! Already love Dylan's character and hearing his real voice makes me really happy๐ฅฐ
Indeed but I don't think we can consider this one as a remake since it was probably filmed before the Korean version...Nonetheless, I loved the K-drama so I'm highly anticipating the Chinese version!
Officially confirmed to premiere on 2/21. The new trailer looks good!https://m.weibo.cn/p/100808b48e60959a2a429624ccb7c58ba100cd?jumpfrom=weibocom#&video
Yeah! I'm so looking forward to it+ Dylan isn't dubbed in this drama *happy tears*
Liu Yi ning as a support role? This is obviously fake.
This is more of an ensemble cast than anything else...nothing is set in stone+ Liu Yu Ning is quite the scene stealer in the dramas he starred in...I'm not worried.
Idk what fat size in Korea and Chin@ but PHS doesn't look fat or chubby he looks fit
Agree. I swear people are way too shallow. It's been 8 years since I've known Hyung Sik (I even met him in rl) and he has always been this way, mostly fat on his cheeks (The Heirs anyone? He was 22 years old at that time) + they all bulked up after MS...He's manlier now and that's fine... the only exception was during his High Society's days where he was painfully skinny (and it was downright unhealthy imo) Don't like it, don't watch/follow him!
Are we sure he's only guest starring in it?!? I was enthusiastic about it since he's not dubbed in this one. Plus,…
I want to believe they're wrong. It looks a lot like 'Gaus Electronics' (Korean drama) and Dylan's character has the same hilarious hairstyle than Baek Ma Tan (Bae Hyun Sung) in this. Bae Hyun Sung is a lead in GE.... *Fingers crossed*
The preview is now available on iQiyi. Dylan is listed as a guest star. Just a minor role I guess. That's disappointing…

Pretty low score... Are you guys not enjoying the drama?
Cut/Deleted scenes are dragging the drama down. While the drama is enjoyable and still fun to watch (thanks to capable actors), censorship and bad editing have dampened many people's enthusiasm for the drama. Actors deserve all the praise in the world because they're saving big time this drama from a ''crash and burn' situation tbh.
@magnolia cream Sorry but I don't consider kissing as a raunchy thing...kissing your beloved/partner is a beautiful…
Let's agree to disagree...I fully agree on that matter with @mizukilla ... 'Half-baked', 'something missing', 'giving that incomplete feeling' is exactly the words that comes to mind when I'm watching this drama. I like it but I would have liked it so much more if they didn't cut those scenes. I'm glad you enjoy the final product but I'm unfortunately not one of them (and I'm not the only one, it seems...see above/lower comments)
As for Bridgerton, I can't relate since I didn't watch that show but after seeing you mentioning it in your comment, I searched for some videos on youtube (season 1) and let me tell you that compared to the deleted scenes of Unchained Love, their love scenes were way more explicit/suggestive. (bear in mind I watched 'GoT' and 'Outlander', some scenes in there could be considered 'hardcore' and though I enjoyed those series, I'm not really fan of those kind of scenes *uncomfortable feeling*) That's why I'm not that fazed/bothered by the content of UL's deleted scenes... kissing passionately is a mild thing to me (it only makes my heart flutter/or beating fast at most)
That will be my last comment on this subject...thanks for having this interesting discussion with me. No hard feelings :)
