Good drama to watch

I didn't expect much from this drama, as I have read some negative reviews on it, however, I ended up really liking it.

The acting of the whole cast, especially Han So Hee's, was fantastic and was what drew me into the story more. I read some comments about Park Seo Joon's character and acting being a bit off, but I thought he brought a fun, easygoing vibe that made the show different in a good way. It made me care about his character and his relationships with others and gave a bit of breathing space between all the action-packed sequences.
One thing I wished we had more, was for a slower buildup between the main characters. It felt like PSJ character fell in love too quickly with HSH character. The 'monster' part of the story was good, but I preferred the other conflicts that were in the show. It was intriguing, however, it seemed secondary as compared to other plotlines. Overall, I enjoyed this show and would recommend it!

Side note: Some music in this show felt out of place, but overall the sound, music and VFX generally fit well with the show.

Heartwarming and Captivating Drama!

I had high expectations for this drama after seeing all the buzz online, and I'm happy to say it exceeded them! Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon's acting and chemistry are pivotal to its success. Their interactions had me giggling and crying throughout. The storyline is captivating, keeping me engaged and rooting for the main couple throughout its entire duration. While time travelling in korean dramas have been done many times before, this is one of the better iterations of it. I was surprised at how well they managed to pace the drama, and still keep it interesting across 16 episodes.

Overall, I highly recommend this drama for fans of light-hearted and fantasy-themed Korean dramas. Give it a try if you are looking for something quite lighthearted and fluffy to watch!

Side note: I love the ost for this drama. 10/10 Have been listening to it on repeat for the past few days!

Mixed Experience with Lighthearted Comedy Drama

I really wanted to enjoy watching this drama, but five episodes in, I find myself struggling to get through each episode. I might return to it in the future if my interest resurfaces, but for now, I am dropping it. I don't particularly like the characters in this drama and don't find myself rooting for or empathizing with any of them. The female lead is quite one-dimensional, portrayed as a good-natured person, and the male lead falls for her in the first episode. The pacing of the drama feels off and somewhat rushed; the relationship and trust between the two leads could have been developed more gradually.

The comedy aspect of this drama seems cheesy to me, and It might be because I'm outside the target age group, as I find some scenes difficult to endure. Without giving away too many details, the slapstick comedy seems aimed at younger viewers, around 13 years old, and feels overly exaggerated, which can be jarring. While I generally enjoy comedy in dramas, the humour in this particular show fell flat for me.

However, one aspect I really liked was the setting and background of the male lead and his colleagues. I was interested in seeing how they worked to overcome prejudice. Overall, this drama might be enjoyable for those who appreciate very lighthearted slapstick comedy.
