OMG Ae and Pete are boyfriends now!!!! Loved this episode so much! And Pond is amazing, lol he cracks me up all the time! And I knew it! I KNEW TIN had a thing for Pete!!! Can't wait until next episode :D
i dont know how some of you guys are waiting for subs. i am so whipped for this series that i watch it when it…
Believe me it is NOT easy! The cuteness between Ae and Pete is IRRESISTIBLE! I'm watching the History Series 1 and 2 again in the mean time. I love LBC so much! Can't wait for english subs! This has to be the best BL I've seen in a long while!
Arg gotta wait until tomorrow for the subs, I'm dying here! LOL I love this series so much, its absolutely amazing! Thailand is so much better at making BLs than my country (USA).
Okay, I just started watching... how is Takezai 38!!! He looks amazing! I would have guessed 28-30 at the most! Okay okay I'm gonna continue watching now lmao!
Okay I finished it, and I liked it! A bit of a bittersweet ending but not sad.
Here are the 7th episode links! Please watch here to support the series. Eng sub will be available soon~Part 1/4https://tv.line.me/embed/4069410…
Thank you! I just checked, hehe no English subs yet but it usually doesn't take more than a day or so. I CAN'T WAIT!!! Just need to avoid spoilers in the mean time lol!
I wouldn't say episode 5 was lackluster. It was just a bump viewers had to get over lol. I was pretty frustrated…
Episode 5 wasn't my favorite either, BUT I still enjoyed it :). I love this series so much and I cannot wait for ep 7! Oh and episode 6 was good! Except Shampoo or whatever her name is bothers me.
Eh it was okay. Both guys are really cute but Yashiro has his pretty face covered in makeup most of the time. They never kiss when he's not in drag, I'm not pan so its hard for me to relate. As for the dresses, lol I don't even like dresses on women -- its an outdated form of clothing. This was kinda like watching a straight romance, cute but not relatable. I do think this was a good movie, it just didn't feel right for me.
Now for my biggest criticism of the film;
I'm gay, but I've never been into the drag/crossdressing scene because it seems hetero-normative to me for gays to dress as women so they fit people's stereotypes. I know most people probably do it on their own, but in this film there was a pressure on Yashiro to continue wearing women's clothing to suit Momo. Could Momo love Yashiro naked and without makeup? Or is Yashiro just a fetish of Momo's? I felt disturbed by this implication. I also hate that premise that "I am not gay but I happen to be sexually attracted to a guy". Sugar-coated homophobia.
Well at least there wasn't full on rape in this one, as is common with Japanese BLs. Although, still being Japanese lol, it came close to rape once and definitely had sexual harassment.
OMG I think Can pointed out something about Tin I didn't even think about. Maybe he actually IS jealous of Ae being close to Pete?! Either way Can is hilarious! "The smoke is getting inside the house, its smelly!" then Can "I'm cursing someone" LMAO! He hates Tin so much ahahaha!
All I can say is... WOW! Episode 6 sure did make up for the lackluster episode 5! The football field scene was…
Pond reminds me of Ming from 2 Moons in that he's a funny, endearingly quirky and a good friend who wants his buddy to find true love and is there to support them, lol and heckle them playfully about their love life. Pond is wacky and I love him for it! He's very entertaining!
Man! It was between Perth and Tay! Lol glad I was late to the poll because I wouldn't have been able to choose…
Tay plays a character called Pete in the series Kiss Me Again which you can watch on Youtube on the official GMMTV channel, simply called GMMTV and they have a checkmark. All the episodes are in 5 parts each and have English (maybe other languages too) subs if you don't speak Thai.
Tin and Pete probably have more of a backstory that we just don't know about yet. Also its common in Southeast Asia and pretty much East Asia in general for younger students to listen to and respect their seniors, even if they don't like them. And in Thailand, you must Wai students above you and elders in general.
Sure I get your point, but love comes more from emotion than logic. Logic is what's practical and that often entails selfishness. But maybe we just see logic in different ways. I see logic as the cold pragmatic instrument of truth. Love is more about a leap of faith, instinctual feeling over logical reasoning.
As for the bad acting part, why is this always the common refrain when dealing with Asian actors? Does their emotions just not translate well? Sorry if I seem offended but I don't see this when it comes to other actors/actresses, but nearly every Asian BL/drama I watch, there's someone in the comments complaining about the bad acting. Some people even thought the acting in SOTUS was bad!!!
Lol I'm not triggered, just passionate. My BF is a Chinese-Vietnamese guy so maybe I get a little to touchy about this. I reread the way you wrote it and it sounds more like the "bad acting part" was more of a throw-away comment rather that your assertion about the quality of the episode. In any case I grant that you are probably pickier than I.
Aside from all the gay boys being psychos and murderers, everyone pretty much dies horribly by the end. Weird and excessively gory, kinda gave me a headache to watch. The plot is dumb and the story confounded, the only parts I found enjoyable were the VERY FEW moments of comedy and the BL scenes, which were still awkward and the gay boys are all bad so hard for me to like them. I hate gore, I didn't read much about this movie before watching so although I expected death I didn't expect EVERYONE to die and in ways that really bothered me. What is Japan's weird fetish for movies where a bunch of kids kill each other? Its messed up and so is this movie.
I wish BLs would establish the relationship early so there'd be less padding. BLs are all about padding until…
I also agree that it shouldn't be drug out for so long. I do love the build-up to the relationship, but that first kiss often takes TOO long to arrive. I was actually surprised when we got the first kiss in episode 4! Made me very happy! Lol I couldn't wait any longer anyways. The cuteness between Ae and Pete was getting to the point of me banging my head against the screen shouting "Kiss kiss kiss!!!" lmao
@Lovely -- Illogical, not unlogical, lol srry it set off my ocd. Anyways I get your point, but are people ever logical when it comes to love/infatuation? He's a young guy, he's going to make young guy mistakes and not handle things in the best way. Pete is human like the rest of us and Tin is someone, for some reason, he looks up to and its difficult for him to show opposition to him as he's also older than him. The actor's nickname may be Saint but you can't expect him to be one all the time lol. Pete has faced the adversity of being gay (lest we forget Trump) and probably is afraid that he will put Ae in a similar position if they become too close. Sure its silly for Pete to think this way, but its at least understandable.
Okay I finished it, and I liked it! A bit of a bittersweet ending but not sad.
