I thought they did a great job making the characters look older/younger also! This is one of my all-time favorite BLs! I love it when Golf and Bank speak English, its adorable! I so hope this series gets a season 2! Even though the ending is a happy one, it also seems like a cliffhanger. I just watched this series for the 5th time just recently lol!

He has the kind of personality that would have me laughing constantly, I like silly people :). And you are so right about him being a cupid! Every now an then I see a BL that has a cupid and they are usually a girl. The only other time I've seen a BL with a guy cupid rooting/supporting a gay couple was in 2 Moons with Ming and his fanboying over WayoPhana. Ming! Another great friend! Pong is unique, I like his character alot! I like most of the characters in this series so far! :D
I don't pre-score a show before I've finished it. But with this one I just have to give it a 10/10. I've loved every episode so far -- the chemistry between the two main leads is amazing and so enjoyable to watch! Episode 4 was so incredibly cute! There are plenty of gay characters in US media! What are you talking about? AND we have many gay celebrities. Being gay, even in the south and midwest, isn't a big deal in the US anymore and gays can get married in Alabama if they wanted. We had BL's back in the 80's for crying out loud! lol
The US isn't nearly as bad as the MSM or other counrties would have us believe. We are a good people who make mistakes (like choosing our President for example.) Most of us are tolerant, accepting and caring. Even most conservatives are good people, no different in where it counts than liberals.
Even when comparing China to the rest of East Asia, Thailand, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and even freaking Cambodia and Burma are less homophobic than China's government.
Thailand is a monarchy, not only that Thailand is a very traditional country. With that said, the society of Thailand (ie the PEOPLE) are very accepting and open. Bangkok and Chiang Mai, beautiful people and cultural customs. The Theravada Buddhists, so kind and open-hearted. Thai society is pro-gay, its proven by the polls, its proven by their tolerance of gay media and its rather large fanbase.
Taiwan is the real China. The "People's" republic was poisoned by the evil Mao and his communist ilk. Communism has been traditionally homophobic. Look at the Soviets and Cuba for examples. I want China to become more open and it WAS before Xi and his tyrannical aspirations became reality.
China invests because they are an economic power and only their government is still stuck in the communist past. The people are progressing, with or without their leaders. And capitalism is becoming more common place in modern China.
If I didn't like the Chinese people or culture, then I wouldn't really care. Sure I'd still dislike the tyranny but I wouldn't be so passionate. I love Chinese people, and I want them to be free. Truly free.
