Title My Extraordinary Spoiler
I'm confused with episode 6. Are they talking to Ken's ghost or is he really there? I'm so fricking pissed that…
Ok. After watching episode 5, for a whole week I have been convinced they are both dead. Both wearing the same clothes, Monica seemingly talking to herself at the table while Ken is there etc. I have elaborated that in several comments below.

After watching episode 6 I no longer think that is the case. Yes, it is amigious, but still.

It is just not feasible that Ken is a ghost only and they all talk to his spirit. And the reasons for that are:
1. Only Sandee could see ghosts but everyone sees Ken and they talk to him.
2. Monica says they are going to the summer house with Ken, because they need to think it over. She asks Lawrence to come with them. So it cannot be mourning. Lawrence even says whether it is because she does not want to confront the neighbors. They both talk about Ken in present tense.
3. Ken tells Lawrence to call him if he needs help with his essay. Lawrence chins up for hearing that, that is a clear reaction.
4. When Teresa video calls Sandee and asks for the script of Pieces of You, she mentions that she was about to ask that from Ken directly, but she though it would be inappropriate to bother him with that now.
5. When Sandee is sitting and being moody with Kevin, she stands up all of a sudden and she says she is about to visit Ken. Kevin is not surprised a bit.
6. When she arrives, Monica calls for Ken that he has a visitor.
7. Under the Wishing Tree, when Ken lists whom he misses so much , he talks about his future plans when he goes back to school and how many more stage plays he is going to write.

These all make it highly unlikely that Ken is dead. Actually, I am quite sure Shake is alive and well too. I came to the conclusion the creator deliberately made the viewer think Shake passed away, as everyone is full on sorrow and his name is never mentioned until the last scene and his final appearance. This seems to be a red herring to me now.

Thanks a lot, but it is required to give answers about Johnny's fandom. Is it necessary to be familiar with those to receive password?

Title My Extraordinary Spoiler
In the trailer he has a whole argument with his Mom about his sexuality...don't think they are going the way you're…
I have rewatched the trailer and discovered a scene where Ken and Shake are strolling hand in hand among the trees on a corn. We have not seen this scene so far, but what caught my eyes: they are both wearing the same dress they had on when the car accident happened. So from that, there is a fat chance they are both dead and Sandee reconciles them in another world. I don't like this perspective but I guess it is becoming increasingly likely.

I too am disgusted by Sandee. But I'm even more disgusted by the MOTHER.
Could not the stupid bitch wait till Ken goes home when the weekend is over? Did she have to order him home at once? Idiot cow.

In that ominous, almost iconic scene in the trailer where Monica says "Why was I the last to know?", to which Ken replies "Mom, I am your son. You have always known. You were just the last to admit". It was not that apparent to me for the first watch, but Monica is not talking to Ken there. She is talking to herself. Ken is just there. And she probably neither sees nor hears him. And Ken wears the same t-shirt there too he did at the time of the car accident, yet without the shirt on.

Since we have three more episodes to come, I still give the benefit of doubt that Ken is possibly in the state of clinical death/coma only. But who knows what is in the screenwriter's mind.

There is a difference between hating and criticizing. In that comment thread people including me were not hating…
The way you look down on her from the beginning has been appaling. This condescending control freak mindset is way worse than using swear words, assuming one is not stuck in the body of a 19th century governess.

If you find some comments way above the level of rightful criricism, you are fully entitled to call a spade a spade, without controlled and censored by condescending and patronising, passive- aggressive cyber bully twats.

According to the description here, Sandee is the one who is gonna unite them. But yea i hate her for now.
Not jut simply for her homophobia. I guess she is not a lost cause in terms of that. What made my piss boil as she shouted at both Lawrence and Sandee why they had not told her before what they thought about Ken, as if they should have done. It is no one but Ken's business to tell her, and if he has not yet told her, she should have a good look at herself first why. And why did she have to call him and order him back? Could not the stupid bitch wait till he comes home?

I was shocked too but sadly,I think Ken is dead, because Sandee saw him T_T
The synopsis above is very ambigious about the resolution. I have several variations in my head, though.
