I certainly did not call you ageist since you are anything but ageist according to your comment. I addressed my rethoric question to you, and this apparently lead to misunderstanding, so then partly this is my fault indeed.

And the reason I addressed my question to you becuase I found your response to that person a bit too lenient. This might be your nature by default, so in this case my remark was pointless, but I have discovered a trend that making derogatory remarks to age gap relationships became somehow acceptable and quite common.

There are people who call same sex couples and multiracial couples names as well, but they are always called out, while people apparently feel free and entitled to sprinkle such unpleasant attributives like the ones above or calling them creepy ands such in a heartbeat, yet they seldom get severe backlash.

So I am the one who is "name-calling" when I call out obvious ageist bigotry wehereas calling someone "dirty old man" or "awful old geezer" just because they passed 40 is by no means derogatory and insulting, right?
