Because these individuals, particularly the antis, believe anything they read on social media. They love bringing it up to make it appear like it's true.
If he's so concerned with being top-billed, why did he accept Fated Hearts and Light the Dark when he was second-billed in both? 🤷‍♀️

I saw lots of it on X. When there is a new 🍉 about him. I often see comments like "Free my girl..." and then proceed to discuss the billing issue hullabaloo, etc. They do not want Yuan to be paired with their favorite actress.

That's what I thought when I read the drama's synopsis rumored with XRH. Such tropes are overused in dramas. I am so glad it didn't materialize. 😂

Perhaps in the future, Yu Zheng will stop being a jerk. 😅

Serious dramas such as DNAD and LTD are great opportunities for him to showcase how good of an actor he is. As I always say, he has so much potential, and I root for him to be even better and mature. But, of course, I will always support him in whatever genre he chooses to pursue next. 😊

I also don't understand where all the hatred is coming from. They trash and slander his name without providing any evidence to back up their claim. If you are a casual CDrama fan who visits that site, you will almost certainly believe their lies. They will downvote your comment if it does not fit their narrative; it is quite frustrating. My experience there was so horrible that I never returned to that social media site again.

TikTok is my go-to source for feel-good videos about Yuan. There are many talented Yuanbaos there who create excellent video clips of him and his dramas.

Personally, I hope he does more dramas like DNAD and LTD in the future. No CP means less fandom war. 😆 But who can resist a good, fluffy, modern romance drama with Yuan as the male lead? 🤭 🤭

I am not a fan of the xianxia genre, but since it is CZY, I am hoping that he could change my mind. I love his chemistry with CDL from their collaboration on Weibo Night last February, as well as their Loewe commercial, so I hope that this is true. 🤞

I want a drama with him and Bai Lu too. But we all know that Bai Lu is under the management of Yu Zheng, and I'm afraid he will attack CZY again if this happens. 😩

IMO, Reddit is the most toxic social media platform if you are a CZY fan, followed by X/Twitter. It's reassuring to know that nobody agreed with the hate post you mentioned.

I do not mind constructive criticism, but character assassination is an absolute no-no for me. Whether it is about Yuan or another artist.
