Yes, I am aware of the entire billing controversy. Antis always brings that up to disparage him. Visuals are subjective. When I first saw Yuan in an article about Hidden Love, I thought he was cute, but I wasn't particularly drawn to him until I saw that he was a versatile actor. "Smitten" was actually an understatement to describe how I perceive him now after seeing him in Fated Hearts, Hidden Love, and The White Olive Tree (in that order) over the course of a month. Yuan is able to fully inhabit the role he plays, making him one of the best (if not the best) actors among his peers.

That was so unfortunate for Yuan. I am pleased that his new manager appears to be doing a great job this time, most especially now that he has not fully recovered from his second operation. He must have had a high tolerance for pain because I can't imagine how he endured the pain while filming Chasing Dreams at that time.

I've seen a lot of derogatory remarks about him on various social media platforms, especially Reddit, where hatemongers swarmed to denigrate and attack him. I try to stay away from this site as much as possible because I'm not the kind to participate in fanfights and disparage other artists because I want my favorite to be the greatest. It is detrimental to my emotional well-being and quite taxing.

Despite the lack of promotion, it is doing great, which makes me happy. This drama made Chen Zhe Yuan a favorite of mine. I'm impressed and I adore everything about it; it doesn't seem low budget to me.

I'm a little sad about this drama's lack of promotion. It deserves more hype, actually. Hoping for a modern drama (or another historical drama) collab between Li Qin and Chen Zhe Yuan. I love their chemistry.
