Yes, I was referring to that. 😅 To be honest, It was a little let down when I found out that it didn't push through because I wanted him to be in a male-centric drama. However, I believe it would be quite difficult for him to perform action/fight scenes at this time considering his situation. I'm a sucker for the romance genre, but my favorite scene in Fated Hearts is one between Feng Suige and his father, the Susha Emperor. I really enjoy the angst, and FSG is sooooo HOT when he is angry. 🤣

He was rumored to star in IQIYI's male-centric drama last year. Unfortunately, it did not happen, and melons claim that it was moved from IQIYI to Tencent. I'm hoping that the delay in casting news is related to his recent surgery and recovery.

Just to clarify, It's actually Chen Zhe Yuan . I understand the confusion it’s not always easy to recognize through messages, and that’s completely okay. My management team helped set this up as a way for me to connect more directly with fans. It’s something a little different from the usual, and honestly, I really love the process.

My wish for him is the same as yours. All the best to CZY in 2026. I pray for a full and swift recovery from his second surgery. For the next year and beyond, I hope to see a healthier (I heard he only weighs about 55 kg now; for a 5'11" lad, he is underweight 😢) and happier version of himself. I want to see him in more mukbang live vids in the future. It makes me very happy that he isn't starving himself on purpose. And please, no more injuries or accidents in the future. 🙏

I think you can always find toxic fans everywhere, but C-ent and K-ent (K-pop idols) fans are the worst. When casting rumors for a Korean drama are announced, I rarely see toxic fan wars. Unlike Cdrama, the Kdrama industry does not have the very divisive billing order practice. I like how they can experiment with pairing famous KDrama stars with similarly famous artists, as well as up-and-coming artists, without having to worry about who will be top-billed. Some fandoms (especially in C-ent) are simply overly concerned about their favorites or other actors outperforming their favorites.

I understand that there's no fandom without toxicity, but what irritates me the most is when the fandoms of two artists working as a CP for a drama engage in fan wars instead of working together to promote the show. I just don't understand why people would go out of their way to be so nasty and derogatory about an actor or performer's coworkers! It astounds me.

I feel sad for CZY and other actors and actresses who have become victims of these toxic fan wars. I really wish this fanwar culture would just STOP, but I know that's impossible.

Right 💯! Very few actors excel at both. I hope he will choose a modern drama for his next project. I don't mind if it's a melodrama, romance, or thriller.

I know I'm in the minority, but I don't really enjoy the Xianxia and Xuanhuan genres. 😅 Perhaps Yuan can convince me to reconsider. He has never, I believe, played an assassin before. It would be amazing to see him in that role in the future.

He's a very hard worker. I'm hoping he'll get paid separately for the dubbing. I'm not sure if Chinese dramas hire dialect coaches, but I've read that Hollywood does. Christian Bale, Idris Elba, Kate Winslet, and many other British actors are excellent at speaking with an American accent. Btw, do they also dub modern Chinese dramas?

He was highly praised for his exceptional line delivery in Fated Hearts. I know the process of dubbing his voice is extremely hard for him, especially now that he's recuperating from his second surgery (and I know he hated it too, as per his recent interview when he was in Malaysia 😅), but I hope CZY will agree to do it again in Chasing Dreams and JSWP. It is one of the many reasons why I enjoyed Fated Hearts.

It's genuinely bittersweet for me to be a fan of CZY. I am a sensitive person, and I get hurt easily when his haters slander him. However, his videos on Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok always make me feel better. 😅
