Inequality Love 🤢 Still on 18 but this is just conditional and selective love from the FL. She's over righteous…
I dropped it as well. What a nitwit, jumping to stupid conclusions and causing so many people to suffer. Ml is a simp as usual and not very bright, too. Not my cuppa. Hope my girl picks better scripts in the future; she doesn't have to play fls who're off their meds in every drama.
Definitely not a fan of dingbat stubborn hardheaded female lead characters. But I have to remind myself this is…
It's on hold for me for now. Her character here is atrocious, though Bai Liu is my fav. May come back someday. Shadow love is looking like a marvel super hero imitation, so I'm hesitant to start it. Pls let me know if I got the wrong impression when you see it. Thanks a bunch.
Am I the only one who loves this show? This is my second re-watch. Yes, I don't like everything about it, like the cheating couple whom they were trying to whitewash and gave so much screen time to-wtf was up with that? was the director off his meds?- but that was solved with the ff button. I just skipped all their scenes. The senior colleague's wife and daughter are just awful. I skipped their scenes as well. I liked the ocd colleague and fl's older sister's romance at first, but I started to skip when the sister said she just wanted casual hookups. I don't judge, but I don't have to watch a behaviour I don't believe in. I like her Mom. Now to my favourite part-the main leads. Their chemistry's off the charts, with real kisses and hugs. Also, they were shown dating, with all the attendant problems that come with their situation, unlike most shows that centre on the issues that lead up to dating and end with them coming together. This show is unique in that they start dating early and we're treated to their relationship throughout. Now, if only they had cut out those cheaters and those other unnecessary people, it would've been perfect. I also love the colleague in the office who had kids so was sidelined for promotion. Rather than wasting screen time on those cheaters, I would've loved a situation where her issue was redressed. It's not fair to her or other working women. Finally, the weather stuff wasn't boring for me. Surprising, because I hated Geography in school Lol! So, give it a chance; just skip all the crap, focus on the main leads, some side characters and the weather. This way, it's an 8.5 for me.
BtB and BA,YM; these are amazing!!! I hope they release even more like them. Sex, violence and all the other crappy dramas they've been releasing-in my opinion- aren't for everyone. Wholesome, funny, romantic, light, good wins over evil, are just the doctor ordered for light viewing after a hectic work week.
wait, what's the rating? Watching ep 4 now i undertsand how Koreans at all age even the older people will love…
It's a hoot! I love it!! It's my third kdrama this year. love scout, beyond the bar and this have brought me back to kdrama world. This year's releases haven't been for me, so I'm happy they've finally released dramas that interest me.
I'm enjoying the heck outta this!! And the director is directing!!! I mean, those ab shots in episode 3, topped up with the lips shots are just...umami!! Lol! Fl is totally adorable. Brave and vulnerable; spunky and intelligent, plus she isn't rude, or an alcoholic and she can cook. Love her. Her assistant is a total hoot. While I don't understand her taste in men, I totally get her drooling over the acrobat guy she thinks is hot. The king is kinging as well. I can't wait for them to fall in love already.
I enjoyed it for the most part. Loved the quirky fl,she's adorable most times. Hate the love 🔺️ so stupid, unnecessary and unrealistic. Should've given the swimmer his own love interest, then we would've had 3 cute love stories. I like stoic, quiet mls. He's an introvert not cold, there's a difference. I find nothing wrong with ml's acting, though I prefer it when he's fighting like in Blossoms in adversity- he must be a trained martial artist.
Nothing can ever be as good as WIFTY😁 I've not been able to finish episode 1 of this, so i came here to see if it's worth it. Ah well, I may come back.
What a disgusting episode (ep8) in the guise of independent women/strong women/ wonder woman concept...... The…
Agreed. I still don't understand why south eastern asian drama writers (j, c, and kdrama writers) think that to portray a woman as strong, she has to be rude, abusive, aggresive, alcoholic, unable to cook or clean even for herself, sleep around etc This isn't what makes a strong woman; just a nasty human being and western propaganda. They've destroyed their society but somehow people still copy their sick way of life. You're not strong by being nasty to others-whatever the gender. You're just nasty. You're not strong by getting drunk all the time and not being able to properly care for yourself, because goodness forbid a 'strong' woman knows her way round a kitchen. I wonder why writing healthy relationships where the couple is nice to each other has become such rocket science?
I don't understand the complainers in the comment section. If you don't like it, then skip it, simple! For me, this has been an epic ride so far- for the most part. Still holding the last 4 episodes till the weekend so I can savour it, like desert. Love the first part when she's a trainee in the camp best. Her fascination with his waist is funny. The fight scenes- good lord! They're epic, especially the war with the last deputy general. The part where they fought together with the horse coming in and it wasn't hurt or killed-love, love it. Love the stoic ml general who actually looks manly enough to be a general. Again, the fight scenes are just amazing!!! I didn't like the female empowerment lectures fl kept forcing on me in the 2nd half of the show. She became this self righteous, know it all SJW who breaks into spontaneous, lenghty and frankly boring lectures which I simply skipped. I'm female and all for empowerment, but I don't need anyone shoving it down my throat, in my entertainment and in such an pompous, insufferable way too. I just want to watch a nice romance and action drama, where good wins and evil is punished. I still wonder why Fl became this totally unrelatable bore anytime she wasn't fighting in the 2nd half, which brings me to my hypothesis: are cddrama writers secretly misogynistic, which is why they ruin almost every fl? Or do they just not know how to write a likeable fl from start to finish? It's suspicious because they write such wonderful mls most of the time. Will come back when I'm done with the last 4 episodes. Btw, I'm also reading the novel and fl's even more insufferable in it. I think the writer's trying to convey a strong woman; sadly she just comes across as an obnoxious braggart. So perhaps they really just don't know how to write strong fls?
