I hope I'm not too late. Not romance, but chemistry between them is so natural and sweet to watch. Like they gravitate naturally to each other. you may like it if you give it a chance. i've seen it twice already, this will be my third rewatch.

I just skip all their scenes; also when I see the old guy she's banging on the side as well.

Oh, I've been raving about both his lips and abs since episode 2 or 3, I think. Can't remember, because I'm simultaneously raving about Sima Jiao's -cdrama- voice, abs, feet and lips as well. Anyhu, you're not alone.

Agreed. I'm also pretty sure this person cannot in anyway hold a candle to the artists whose looks they're criticising. Both actors are very handsome and do good work. I wish them all the best and hope if they see such vitriol, they know it's coming from someone really ugly inside and out.

Oh no!!! He becomes a simp? Why!!!!?? My badass Sima Jiao becomes a simp? I'm on episode 13 and have been savouring this drama, hoping they don't mess it up for me. At last, we have a powerful ml and an intelligent fl. Why is it so difficult for the ml to fall in love and still be badass? Xie Jie did it in SOKP and it's so awesome! And why does a great fl suddenly become stupid, endangering the ml? Wth is wrong with cdrama producers?!!!! I had to drop LBAFD because I got a headache from the screechy baby voice, even though I loved the plot and the other actors. Was hoping this would fill that void. Ah well, thanks for the heads up.

I understand it may look that way, but if you watch that scene again, you'll see that he 'read the room' or in this case, the elevator. FL was almost paralysed with fear and don't forget that nutcase had come in earlier with his pup abuse video. which is why he reacted that way.

Can't believe the ex-wife is still gas lighting him; though I don't get why he''s still giving her the opportunity. Best to just cut such toxic folk out of your life. Also, leads not together this late in the day gives me heartburn lol! However, that beatdown is just epic and satisfying to watch. Can't agree more. And she's still gaslighting the ml. A million excuses for being the lowest of the low, it's always the other person's fault, he should've done or said this or that, but never admitting the fact that it's all her fault and she's just trash. I thought the ml said they wouldn't speak; why is he seeking her out? All in all, I was hoping for the leads to get together, but I think it's going to be a last minute thing, which is disappointing. But the beat down of that animal abuser is so satisfying.

Agreed. Dead fish kisses are annoying. But this drama has lovely kisses. But beyond that, it's the insane chemistry. They look so natural together that I hope they marry irl LOL!

Happy it was heat stroke. For a second there, it looked like he was on something. It's such a shame producers don't know how to use this good-looking fella and his baritone. Casting him in dramas with no mass appeal- I won't watch anything about sex; I prefer romance. Which is why I watch Asian dramas, instead of Hollywood filth and I'm sure I'm not alone- is such a waste of his potential. He should be a gumiho; an overbearing ceo chaebol; an alien who falls in-love with the fl etc not all this whatever they're casting him in. Anyway, all the best to him.

Sima Jiao is a saint at this point. If I were him, subjected to such torture for the greed of a few, I'll have annihilated everyone and everything. But he hasn't-even though they all need a good killing. He's saving people and has the patience of a saint. Yes, fl softens his hard edges, but he's already innately good. So why is this immortal dude gaslighting my boy? I shouldn't have drooled over him so much, but in my defence, even though he's daft, he's quite hot LOL! Also, the fl is such a sweetie. I love her so much!
