arghh!!! I yelled at my screen when Chong Zhao took the sword swing for Fu Ling. After all the arrow shots Bai Shuo suffered from Fu Ling, that swing was all too deserving for Fu Ling...😤

Originally this was meant to be only 36 episode series with sad/open ending. Bai Lu in one interview stated that she expected a happy go lucky drama and didn't expect to films all these sad scenes. However after pending reviews by the television board, the production team decided to add 4 more episodes to make it a total of 40 episodes. The wedding scene that is floating around was filmed recently (4 months ago ish) after filming wrapped more than a year ago. Most likely it is a happy ending but anything can happen. However, Bai Lu has mentioned that it is a HE in recent interview.

It's just a side special project to help fundraise for the Xinjiang project. Not really keep running. I believe it was filmed during their trip to Yunnan trip? 🤔

They were supposed to be offerings for the sacrificial altar that's why they were trapped just above the altar. Their blood/energy were absorbed to ignited the sacrificial offerings to make deity. But is was halted as Bai Shuo stopped it from happening so no one dies.

Father died because he offed himself in exchange for the God/goddess grace to save all the people that died from the Nether poison.

She already have Kindness and Killing therefore what is left is Love, Hate, Greed. My two cents bet is going to be Greed cause the tree is greedy for power.

I'm assuming Chang Mei realized that Ling Long was pregnant and that the baby was still alive when she saw Ling Long's dead body. My theory is that Chang Mei used the Weak Water Stone to save Mu Jiu life, that's why it is no longer with the Emotion Tree. One lead to another, Chang Mei felt responsible therefore offered her spiritual power but A'Qi intervened and offered his instead.

It hasn't been played yet. They just got to Jing Long OST. It should be soon though so watch out

It wasn't shown but we can concluded that someone had told her or she was aware that Fu Ling was caught. Still both situations were different which factor in the differences in responses. Plus Fu Ling was talking smack for someone who is at the mercy of other. Just trying to give you another perspective. 😁

I would think it made perfect sense one would react differently in situation where someone is telling you the person you hate was here vs them appearing right in front of you. In the first situation, you have to weigh in how long ago was that, no point in chasing if it has been a while and boy did CZ took a while to tell her that he has seen Fu Ling. By the time CZ told her, BS would have concluded Fu Ling is long gone. Just like how I would react if someone told me a snake was found around here vs the snake being right in front of me. For the former, I would just assess that it is actually not inside the room while for the latter I would scream, jump, run away as fast as I could.
