Yeah. The thing is most human also don't do it not everyone is ready to jump in to save other so how can we ask…
There's still more episodes to come so I don't want to get ahead of myself on how the story will be unfolded but based on what I have seen so far, I don't think she blames him for the consequences. She is blaming him for making her powerless, unable to fight back. She was willing to face the consequences herself, willing to fight against fate. However, because of him she no longer have that option to fight against destiny. How do I put it.. Let's say someone with a brain tumor due to bad lifestyle choices that only have one month to live. You are aware that there is this surgery with a 50-50% chance of survival. Of course you would take a risk on the surgery but suddenly that option what taken away by someone else. Wouldn't you also blame them for taking away that hope for a different outcome from you?

Well since she made the choice to saved the grandpa, the Meng family is now tied to her. Just like a saying in buddhism that goes something like this.. "To help is to help all the way". Don't really know the exact translation.

She never put the ML in danger. She only put herself in danger. It's the mL choice to protect and save her. She is the type to sacrifice herself for the world while he is the type to sacrifice the world you. lmao

She was more involved with the Meng because the grandpa saved her from the carriage therefore she felt she owed him that life. You know the old a life for a saving grace. And that's how it all begins. I don't fault her though as I would have to if I have the means to.

That's why I like this drama because it makes you think and reflect on your own values. Is inaction to do good…
It's the same as going around blaming the rich for not helping the poor when they have the means to do so. We, as a society in general, praise them when they do but we don't go around blaming them if they don't.

No HRY has always been interested and compassionate toward the other mortal other than the Meng like how she cure the little girl and how she goes around helping the poor in the beginning and how she lighten up the lantern for the lost souls even after knowing it was just a myth. It just the drama choose focuses on the Meng family in particular.

It was understandable for them to fault BJS for the old man death in the fire for not helping because it was an accident after all. However, I don’t like how Lin Tao's mom fault BJS for Lin Tao dad’s death. It was his decision to go into the fire not BJS. Sure he can save him but Lin Tao’s dad got to take responsibility for consequences for his choice. It was Lin Tao’s dad choice to not prioritize his responsibilities as a husband and as a dad before going into the fire.

I don’t see how there are inconsistencies with their characters. You are just experiencing this from different…
When they first descended to mortal realm it was from BJS point of view. When they descended earth again for the second time it is from HYR point of view and BJS is following along with her and was forced to be more involved with the mortal in which he didn’t want to at first as a self-protection. Like I mentioned earlier, if BJS was forced to be involved with the mortal in his first time descending, he will also intervene like HRY did. However that wasn’t the case. Till this day, neither what BJS nor HRY did is right or wrong on how they handled the mortal. Just differences in priorities. There are two sides to everything based on how you view things. Looking from BJS’s worldview, it was indeed HRY fault for getting involved with the mortal in the first place which lead to consequences and from HRY's worldview it is BJS being too detached. Can’t really fault anyone.

I don’t see how there are inconsistencies with their characters. You are just experiencing this from different point of view. One from HRY and the other from BJS therefore you might feel so. I don’t think the drama has portrayed BJS as cold-hearted or indifferent. It's just HRY that believed he is cold-hearted. Since the beginning BJS understands that there are many suffering in the mortal realms however to him HRY and his love one are above everything else and his priority to protect. He believed that the more you are engaged with the mortal the more you are going to empathize with them which lead you to intervene with their life. Which will only hurt HRY and himself in the end. That is why is he tried to remove himself from the get go and not to be too involved. But once he is engaged he is going to help. He has always been that way.

Ok i have a question, in the latest ep's during their conversation before both of them seals off their powers…
Maybe someone can explain this better than I will but I would say she is both depending on how she would categorize herself. For example, someone of mix heritage. Depending on how that person truly feel, they could identify as this or that. HRY is now in mortal body with goddess power. Similar to how a mortal cultivate to become an immortal. HRY identified herself as mortal first.

also we gotta mention the corny sound effects. It feels like a shorts drama instead of a high-budget one 😂
I loved the costumes and the set designs tbh! It was just the editing in the first couple of episodes that was subpar. However, I felt like the editing and bgm have improved as the episode goes further along.

i don't really get if your emoji means you're annoyed at the patriarchy or at the storyline but i agree that there's…
ummm... you might has missed that among the four Venerable in the Empyrean were female. Remeber the one that said "I will" when BJS questioned whether they will sacrifice their self if they are in HRY's shoe. lmao

If you pay attention there is actually no filler yet. You just haven’t made the connections yet.
People really need to understand the meaning of filler before using it to criticize. Filler refers to scenes or episodes that doesn't contribute to the overall plots or character development. Though their mortal life were slow pacing, I failed to see how they are fillers as you stated. Their mortal lives added perspectives to how viewers understand BJS and HRY's character, how BJS and HRY gotten along before their misunderstanding, how HRY's worldview differs from BJS, and how HRY felt responsible for the Meng family. Without those scenes of how HRY watching over 3 generations of Meng family, I wouldn't be able empathize why she would go that far to help Meng Changqin (I could understand but not really feels what she felt).

well said but i think the beginning was still perfect, because once we overlook some tiny details like the CGI…
The thing is… people say they want a straightforward story with background info and plot at the beginning yet when given they say it is predictable. But when the story is revealed layer by layer, they then complains it is messed up and all over the place. Pick your poisons.

it's so funny how canglei palace and jingyun sect are desperately searching for their masters with all their forces…
They are not actually just in any mortal world. It’s a mortal realm protected by the Heaven Seal Divine therefore even the immortal do not have access to it.

I can't tell if it's doing better than MM from some of these stats? And how about in China? I always thought MM…
In part becuase Feud is more accessible to the general public. MM was limited to iQiyi while Feud is available on iQiyi, Viki, Netflix, Huanyu channel and lots of other streaming channels.

"If you're unwilling to do it, he'll entrust it to someone else." - does that mean they haven't
I think he meant it as his other half for the love tribulation?
