The clips/gifs I mentioned in my response to OP were about pet foxes. And they were similar how Ji Ling acted. Real foxes eat chickens raw, feathers and all... I don’t think viewers would want that level of realism.
And his character was a blind fox who probably fed on berries and plants. So he was likely not a very skilled hunter anyway.
Feel free to disagree. I’m too tired to argue any further.

I was referring to the mannerisms in those clips. And they weren’t wild foxes anyway—they were pet foxes. I meant things like the small bites, the little pauses in between, and similar behavior.
TJR is a very good actor. His acting when the fox transformed was very good. The way he smiled and giggled at…

True. I never moved on from FOF and it's been almost 1,5 years since it premiered. So I'm not even going to pretend it's going to be easy this time. People can say what they want about GJM, but he sure is good creating some memorable characters and bonds.
I don't understand some of the comments on JJY having bad acting. You have to realize the director calls the shot…
Most of them are trolls. There’s one particular person who seems to have around 10 accounts and loves pretending to be other actors’ fans just to throw shade at her or at TJR.
So are we in agreement that the biggest plot twist is that it's a happy ending? When I finished the last episode,…
I kind of knew about the ending for the main characters because of script leaks, but I was surprised by how many side characters survived. Compared to FOF, the death count was so low in the end.
He's a rare talent indeed. And I'm happy that he got an opportunity to show what he's capable of. On the one hand,…
It does seem like he has more opportunities now to choose the dramas he actually wants. And at least based on Wang Duo’s example, it seems Guo Jingming isn’t petty enough to create obstacles when a contract ends. In that sense, at least a better boss than another controversial dude with the initials YZ.
It’s just that most people don’t know Tian Jiarui actually goes to auditions, and that his newest roles weren’t simply handed to him on a platter by Guo Jingming. That’s mainly what bothers me and the hate part. I guess GJM was trying to protect him with this equal billings thing for all four leads this time, but it didn’t work out well either. My English is just weak, so I can’t express it as well as I’d like on my own.
