The ending is messed up because I think it was supposed to be a sad or open ending but then the TV channel wanted this to have a happy ending. But I guess not enough footage for this so they made some weird weird editing decisions.
I would say the ending is confusing. Not good, not bad. If you check recent discussions, then there's a user who's making her own edit version. She also re-edited the last 5-6 episodes when the series ended. I have not watched it myself yet, but apparently, it's much better than the original last 5-6 episodes.

If you like love/hate and slow burn romance then give it a try. Strongest point in this drama is romance.
