I think the difference is she didn't see the whole Yan clan wiped away in front of her, unlike YZJ who witnessed it at an early age. She has only experienced hardship at the pearl farm and she barely form any bond with her mother so her hatred is not as deep. She doesn't have that thirst for revenge and just want to have freedom and stand on her own.

Viki's subtitle is better than Netflix? I don't subscribe to Viki but I thought a large platform like Netflix would have better subtitle especially with all those popular Korean dramas.
