I was tolerant of her old fashioned typical Chinese mom behavior earlier but yeah the engagement party really crossed the line. I'm just not happy with how the FL and her mom made up afterward. She hasn't changed and still greedy and shameless as ever. Let's hope there is more on her redemption arc.
