People need to understand TFF is a S+ drama with high budget. No one is going to cast a main character to an unknown actor and just hope for the best. Even with the popularity of HL, Victor Ma didn't really gain any major roles or even popular support roles after. Production companies are not stupid to invest in a high budget drama on him.

No offence to Victor Ma but he would not be able to pull off the complicated darker character of SY in TFF. I don't think he has what it takes to be a main character but he's great at being a support role.

I watched 4 eps and it's sooo good. I think someone has mentioned before and I agree, the only thing I think would make it better is if the format is similar to L&P where their high school past consist of a few episodes so it flows better instead of just short flashbacks. But nevertheless, loving it so far!

This needs to air right now! I missed Arthur Chen since L&P.

Wang kai Mu version is similar to this one. Zeng Hui is HOT on his version. All the MLs are good but I think I like the FL most on this one. She's more sassy and amazing banters with the ML.

As far as I know, they met at University since Duan Jia Xu didn't live in the same town as them. He moved there for Uni.

A very happy ending and none of the support cast die which is unheard of in republican drama.

YZX is such a good actor. He makes me be on his side even though he was being the asshole and cruel to the FL. His expression are everything. He can play the most toxic ML and I still end up feeling sympathetic to him, What a great actor!

But this was the point of this drama. If it's not something that interest you, then watch something else. From what I've seen on the comments, many people are interesting in the storyline.
