I'm really not a fan of the 'treat you badly for your own good' trope. Honestly, I'll tell them them the truth and let them make their own decision. Of course, you can try to persuade them out of it but If SYS choose to go the demon route, it's his choice. Same as MQG/XRR, I think she has a Saviour complex and if that's what she choose in her rebirth, then let her be.

I'm all caught up. I'm really not liking SYS and MQG both making decisions and acting like they know better for the other person. This is equivalent to what SYS's mom did to the young SYS. She thinks she knows better and giving him a better life by treating him badly and abandoning/selling him. And we all know how that turned out?

Yes she's so darn cute in all her dramas. Especially when she makes requests with her polite and adorable voice. I don't think anyone can resist her charm and say no to her.

Ok I think I kind of figure out after watching ep 3. The FL's aunt is married to the Lu family. I think she's married to one of the branch. The ML is from the 2nd branch of the Lu family. I guess they can be considered distant cousins but not blood related.

So how are the ML and FL related? The Luo and the Lu's?

Yes it's obvious on SYS' side and you can totally see he is in love/obsession with her. But with her, I have yet to see her treat him differently from Su Yu. When the 2 men were in some sort of conflict, she have never taken SYS' side. She has no hesitation towards SY and accepted his gifts and help. I get that she's overall nice to everyone, but I really want to feel she treats him special.

You're right. For someone so smart, she cant put 2 and 2 together. There were 2 fruits and one is not MQG, so who is the other one?

For some reason, I'm not convinced that XRR/MQG loves SYS as in romantic love. MQG especially, I only see her love him as a disciple and care alot for him, like family. Maybe XRR is too nice to everyone and seems like she would give up her life for just anyone, hence I can't find the special love she has for SYS. If she really loves him, I can't see her giving up so easily just because she thinks he is still in love with MQG. She has never fought for him and it's weird the way she's so close to SY, even letting the Crown Prince attend to her wounds without a single hesitation. Are you really that close, you would let a man supposedly engaged and royalty attend to you??

The way I see it, it seems all the characters think they know better what is right for the other person.

Yeah Su Yu is annoying. I guess it was my wishful thinking that he married the fake lol. I like WJ even more than him.

Did Sj Yu and the fake MQG get married? I thought they did in that 1 year time skip when the servants called her the consort title but then no one else addressed her as such.

I think you got Zhang Ruonan (first frost) and Xu Ruo Han (the best thing) mixed up. Not the same actress.

I'm on ep 10 and I actually like Ran Ran more than MQG. I find MQG very arrogant and know it all. She thinks she has the right to make decisions for SYS. Tell him the truth and let him make his choice, instead of being self-sacrificing when he never asked for it.

I won't take Youku's tagline seriously. I have seen so many youku clips on youtube with fake headlines making it seems like a romance or they have developed feeling but there was zero romance on the clips. I think it will just give people who are looking for romance false hope. I'm ok either way. I didn't watch this for the romance but if it's there, that's a bonus.
