Intrigue and Love Wins
This miniseries was enjoyable to watch. The comedic timing of both the leads were just enough not to become cheesy. The tone of the story was more of what happens when misunderstandings lead to fated connections. The chemistry between the leads was enticing and swoon worthy. There was such a twist in turn of 'who is fooling who' that kept the pace and interest for the storyline. The villain element had a resolve that seemed rushed after going through the buildup to unveil. Nevertheless, this is worth the watch if you want a warm connection that starts off as enemies to become allies that find love and loyalty in the end.Was this review helpful to you?
Decent Mini Rework
From the onset this series has good potential with good looking leads, a focus on the business of design and some sensual moments. The chemistry is quite the temptation. The backstory of events of business and relational connections were touching and weaved in well. The OST was more so background music than melodies that encapsule a scene. The ending was like a fairytale which was 'candy sweet' and loving. In fact, the ending was more of the ending that many viewers probably desired to see at the end of 'other' more solid minis that the ML has been featured and this storyline reminds us of. Yet, the editing and scene placement made the flow a little taxing and assumptive which made it fall short. Nevertheless, it is a nice mini overall. Was this review helpful to you?
When Fated Love is Under Attack
Nice miniseries filled with the tropes that we have come to expect. The cheating, manipulation, obsessive 'love' interest, trauma and tragedy gives a packed whirlwind of options to consider. Yet, the ML and FLs connection felt authentic and not static. The 'villains' were the norm weaved in unique ways to keep it interesting. The dynamics of the 'talent' feature was not as prominent as expected but more so a highlight. The 'extra' at the end could have been left out. However, for a miniseries its light, paced well and a solid watch. Was this review helpful to you?
Cute Mini - But Choppy
The ML is good. Looking forward to seeing him in more dramas. The FL was okay; however, between makeup, hair or delayed acting it became distracting to watch. The OST was okay. Even the story concept was okay. The description does not match what is being played. The pacing was pretty good. However, I would have preferred really understanding and seeing the textile everyone wanted on full display besides the various board meeting scenes. The villain and her 'helper' became laughable seeing that they had overwhelming accessibility to the main leads even after being discovered time and time again. Was this review helpful to you?
Destined or Delivered?
The beginning concept of this series is interesting. Yet, how it is executed is quite touch and go. You can see where the story gains momentum in explaining the links of the past and present closer to the last episodes. However, the spell book and alternate spell book really could have been left out. (or a different link reveal could have worked better) The point of the Shaman explaining the box in retrospect makes the 'destined' feel more 'delivered' to deploy unknown possibilities. Besides that, the comedic parts of this romcom were entertaining and worth the break from all the seriousness of the storyline. The 'crazy' people throughout the series kept you guessing and asking 'why' such angst against the FL (which never was quite explained but just assumed) The overall drama is a solid watch of a unique mix of romance, comedy, mystery and drama. Was this review helpful to you?
Love Transcends
This series has turned out to be a PSA for fire safety and the trials and tribulation of firefighters with a touch of sensationalism of a 'celebrity' element. Nevertheless, it also shows the innate dangers within the dramatic turns that effect their lives throughout. Relationship challenges are very real for those that work in this field or any First Responder field. The ending left a lot for interpretation. Especially for those of us that know within the novel there is a happy ending. The ending seemed to imply that the writers wanted to give the audience a 'What If' feel.
What if - He didn't survive the forest fire. How would she love/honor him?
What if - He did and finally, they figured out a way to love while yearning. And he arrived late to the performance and was moved by how she displayed the ebb and flow of firefighting through her art and with his brother playing part.
This was a beautiful and thoughtful series more so about firefighting, dangers, sacrifice and safety than romance. The ML and FL were strong in conveying the thoughtfulness to each other and their fields and determination to be present for each other regardless. Their chemistry was warm and comforting. The supporting cast were strong in delivering a memorable piece of art. Worth the watch!

Mutually Trying
The FL and ML did have a few swoon worthy moments and endearing chemistry. Yet the flashback sequence left a lot to be assumed. Did it happen? If so, did she come back? How? If not, was it a dream? So much unanswered. Very choppy scripting even for a mini. The edits were very sloppy. The connection of the leads as well as the antagonist was taxing. The overall arc of the series had to be more assumed than satisfying. The OST was more like background noise than a prominent flow of what the drama was trying to convey. . ML is pretty new and will be one to watch. Yet, this was a little all over the place even for a mini which left it being okay. Was this review helpful to you?
A Running Ad Campaign + Romance
Cute Mini. However, it is more of a running ad for a cosmetic campaign. The Kans product line was literally forced into every other frame. Would have been nice if it was a true drama. I like both leads. The 'undercover boss' scenarios were quite enjoyable. The bullying aspect in different situations were relatable as well. I like a strong FL that does not shrink to power, money or title. The ML is very charismatic. The OST was distracting at times and could have been left out. I have seen this FL in other miniseries with this product. The clips are cheeky and cute. However, both leads are very good actors and should be in true dramas to showcase their talents. This mini doesn't take itself seriously. This is a fun watch. Was this review helpful to you?
Everlasting Crush Mini
The ML and FL were well played in this miniseries. It was cute and charismatic. From the start it keeps you guessing on what is really true and who feels what. But after a while, it is clear that both ML and FL love each other through it all yet struggle with communication. The chemistry between the leads was endearing. However, the troubles with company and outside influences did not help. Yet, the underlying plans that become unveiled speak the truth. The OST has a cute lead in. This series will keep you entertained. This is worth the watch. Was this review helpful to you?
Too Cute and Worth the Watch
This is a solid k-drama short.I liked the FL unique character mix of law, fighter and protector. The ML was good at showing the conflict of being in the public eye and truly wanting to protect private matters. The cast as a whole worked well as one. The music was cheesy but kept the mood light and airy. This is a true ROMCOM.
The best friend's reaction to the president was over-done. I truly dislike female roles that try to go a complete 180 in attitude towards a person for no reason which causes unnecessary conflict throughout various episodes. Misunderstandings are one thing, but self-awareness is everything! (Writers do better with direction of the support cast)
I liked the progression of the thought processes of both ML and FL as well as insecurities. Showing how public opinion oversteps people's personal boundaries beyond reason and how people try to navigate through it all, made it feel relatable. Classic, you can't tell a book by its cover.
Solid rewatch!

Linked with Layers
The leads: Their romantic connection was more so varied layers of emotional conflict that never really felt resolved and seemed rushed in the end. The FL seemed immature, misguided and slow to 'read the room' more than cute and convincing at times. The ML seemed torn, talented and tormented but too soft at the oddest of times. The storyline dynamics has been seen before; nevertheless, the execution of script and direction left it lackluster and a bit boring. The main challenge points seemed to become a backdrop to the 'romance' which was not strong enough to bring to the forefront. Some parts seem forced to prove a point while others drag for dramatic affect. (which doesn't quite work) The last episodes started to feel more like the pace from the beginning. There was no depth of consistency in the middle. It became tiring to finish. With a tighter edit, this could have been told in 20 episodes and would have landed much better. Rewatch is questionable. Was this review helpful to you?
Mini Mix with a Nice End
This is a cute mini with a 'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim' - Kdrama vibe and a twin's twist. The champion fighter impact was quite a change which made the FL quite enjoyable. The chemistry was touch and go. The leads really don't have a 'real' kiss till the end. The trauma points weren't a highlight which is refreshing. This drama was filled with cliches that we see in Cdramas and Kdramas. Nevertheless, the ML and FL are good with nonverbal cues and tension. All in all, it is a solid miniseries that doesn't take itself too seriously. Was this review helpful to you?
The Bodyguard that Brings it All
This series is very good. This pair has worked together before in miniseries 'Maid's Revenge' which is also a solid watch. The chemistry between the leads is palpable. The FL portrayal between blind to sight-seeing in the midst of danger was well done. The support characters were okay some scenes hit the mark while other fell a little flat. The OST conveyed the tension and seduction of the series well. The ending was well played in keeping the audience wanting more. The ML is just one to watch...PERIOD! I look forward to seeing the leads featured in major broadcasts as main leads. Worth the Watch! Was this review helpful to you?
Nice Romance Drama that Shines
This series hit all the points of tragedy, jealousy, business dealings and broken connections. The chemistry between the leads was heartwarming and swoon worthy. The emotional depth of the ML was very well done. FL did very well in conveying the arc of lost, betrayal and hope. OST song by Shi Shi, "Loving You Is" totally captures the essence of the series. . 2 hospital scenes close to the end was a bit cliché and wasn't needed to that extent.Episode 24 gave all the key dialogs from the mothers and ML for a solid ending to occur. However, the ending was curious and a little open-ended which left you thinking .... Okay??? Anything else? Yet, overall production was solid. This is a solid watch.

Crazy & Worth the Watch!
This series is fun and filled with life lessons. The twists towards the end you don't see coming. The love interest's journey to get together didn't feel forced or unbelievable. ML (Kim Jae Wook) hits every beat of the dynamic challenges of his character and how the edge of his character begins to soften throughout. The FL (Krystal Jung) held her own in giving us range of emotion in both verbal and non-verbal communication. The second couple was cute. I am glad that writers made the decision to focus more on the journey of the main characters instead of forcing a full second couple storyline. OST was nice and not overbearing. Production was well done. However, certain scenes started to feel redundant with the SFL. The weaving of how so many people can become the culprit for different reasons was well played. How this series dealt with trauma and loss hit home and rang true to how one can have closed off and reactionary displays of emotion. This is definitely worth the watch!NOTE: So many people are missing out on this jewel because it is hard to find and is not loaded on many platforms. Even on YouTube it only shows clips and not episodes. But once you are able to find and watch this drama, it will become one of your favorites.
