Very Cute & Worth the watch.
Finally, I found a c-drama that doesn't take itself too seriously. It doesn't have the over-the-top parent relationships. I appreciate the ML's affection throughout the series that never wavered and didn't blur the lines like in some other dramas. The ML was different than I am used to; however, he spoke more with his eyes than anything else. The FL, I have seen her before in 'I Hear You'. I like her much better in this one. Even though she is playing someone young in love, I am so glad the writers didn't write her as someone that was too naive. The storyline had it cliches for sure. But I must admit one of the twists I didn't see coming. If you want to watch a romance drama that isn't so drastically dark or burdens your heart throughout, this is a good one. It is solid and worth the watch. Was this review helpful to you?
Strong in the Wrong Way
Sequels can be suspect especially after a very successful original. However, this series had a nice start with all the unique connections and developments and then it started to become a cheesy, bad, awkward, silly mess. The romance between the leads felt not only forced but unrealistic at times due to the quirkiness of the FL. After a while, I found myself more interested in the villain plot than any other part of the series. It started to drag even when there was action. The choppiness of trying to link everything together missed the mark. OST was forgettable. This fell flat. NOT WORTH THE WATCH!Suggestion: Watch the original IT IS WAY BETTER!

Growth and Effort leads to Glory
Very nice story. ML and FL felt authentic in the growth and adjustments needed for their love to remain and sustain the course. How the ML was written as someone highly intelligent and handsome who also has his own insecurities and hesitations was well done. The FL was cute in her delivery of business, beauty, unrequited love and then beloved. The writers allowed each lead to 'show up' in the other's life in their unique way that brought the other happiness and balance. It was a fun flirtatious series throughout. The chemistry was swoon worthy and sexy. Must watch! Was this review helpful to you?
A Time travel story with romance? Depending on where you land.
The time travel piece... HOT MESS! It was so confusing that it became distracting. I went into this series with no expectations, nor had I read the novel or seen the original. With all of that said, this fell flat. Honestly, if I was not a fan of Ahn Hyo Seop, I would have dropped it. There were too many holes within it where you have to 'assume' parts just so the next part could be considered. The ending was open-ended. The 'fix' towards the end tried to close up loose ends and felt rushed. The actors sustained the storyline. However, there were parts of the writing itself that seemed unclear or missed opportunities. Some parts missed the critical thinking and maturity of an adult. The love connection was touch and go. Yet, in the end...Did they really connect? I would ask the same for this series. Was this review helpful to you?
Revelations of Revenge
So much to unpack within this miniseries. The chemistry between the lead couple was intense and at times captivating. The sequence of events to take revenge were clever and not too far fetched. The revelations of connections weren't forced into scenarios which was refreshing. The various parts of the storyline where the ML and FL acted 'out of character' with one another to continue to trip up their prey was done well. This was definately a solid miniseries full of action, tension and passion that is worth the watch. Was this review helpful to you?
Impossible Mix to Madness
This story had great promise once you realize early that the whole scope of the series is a game, and it is a high-level game of chess. The interesting revelation is trying to understand who the real players are verses the pawns. Revenge and takeover are the arcs of the pace of this drama which is palpable. Yet, the FL is a factor within the series that could have been left out completely and the storyline might have landed better. This would have been a better series if it concentrated more on the hunter and the hunted between the two MLs. Towards the end of the series, the episodes became a mess of 'just make it make sense' which missed entirely. So much build up in the beginning to end with such a sloppy 'resolution' was quite disappointing. Was this review helpful to you?
Torn Between Two Sides
This story has layers of push and pull within oneself as well as experiences and influences around others. The connection between the leads was tender and endearing. The business side of the series seemed well thought out yet disjointed at times and had a vague resolve. There were many parts that did drag and felt like fillers which made the ending seem lackluster and unfinished. Nevertheless, the series seems to gain more fullness and traction within the last 5-7 episodes. The ML was good in showing growth in his emotional intelligence as well as communication. The FL seemed to finally grasp the same growth within the ending episodes. This is a sweet series with no trauma points or dramatic evil dynamics which is nice. Just an easy ride to a hopeful end.Was this review helpful to you?
Winter-Spring Mature and Supportive Love
The maturity in this series is worth mentioning. Growth in emotion, career and life choices. When tolerance runs out and being intentional about 'living' begins. The ML and FL had a warmth and connecting chemistry that was filled with respect and understanding. The supporting cast were very good in setting realistic tones of the pace, pressures and perspectives that challenges bring. The romance between the leads is an understandable slow-burn but worth it. This is a solid series that is worth the watch. Was this review helpful to you?
Love this Pair. They can sell anything
Cute Mini. However, it is more of a running ad campaign. Would have been nice if it was a true drama. I like both leads. They have nice chemistry. The different 'anti bullying' scenarios were quite enjoyable and relatable as well. I like a strong FL that does not shrink to power, money or title. The ML is very charismatic. The OST could have been left out. I have seen this FL in other miniseries featuring products. The clips are cheeky and cute. However, both leads are very good actors and should be in true dramas to showcase their talents. This mini doesn't take itself seriously. This is a fun watch. Was this review helpful to you?
Romance with Ad Fillers
Cute Mini. However, it is more of a running ad campaign. The product line was literally forced into every other frame. Would have been nice if it was a true drama. I like both leads. The 'undercover boss' scenarios were quite enjoyable. The bullying aspect in different situations were relatable as well. I like a strong FL that does not shrink to power, money or title. The ML is very charismatic. The OST was distracting at times and could have been left out. I have seen this FL in other miniseries featuring products. The clips are cheeky and cute. However, both leads are very good actors and should be in true dramas to showcase their talents. This mini doesn't take itself seriously. This is a fun watch. Was this review helpful to you?
BRAVO! CAST, CREW and PRODUCTION!
This was a great follow-up after Mysterious Love. Even though this WAS NOT a sequel, it allowed us to see the dynamic depth of both lead actors and great production. The leads received more screen time. The script was filled with twists and turns to keep you interested and not filled with cliches. The series did not drag and was perfect @ 16 episodes. The chemistry between the leads is very sexy and infectious! If they are not a real couple in real life.... Oh my, to the lucky person who they are really in love with. The OST, even though it isn't a lot of tracks, is perfect for the movement and flow of the series. The ML and FL are brilliant in pulling this tapestry of scenes together from beginning to end. Great production and screenwriting. The attention to detail is A1. Looking forward to everyone's next project. BRAVO! A MUST SEE!Was this review helpful to you?
Interesting yet misses a step
For a short, to make it 18 episodes was a bit much so I searched to find the full version so that I can stay focused. The DeJa'Vu element was interesting, and I thought that the storyline would build upon how that is possible. but it seemed like it decided to focus more on the childhood 'hookup' than how we can 'reply' a certain time of day to prevent murders. (Which would have been more interesting.) The acting and music were subpar. The storyline actually had promise it just started to feel like a different story midway. The twists made the thriller more appealing. However, I debate on its rewatch value. Was this review helpful to you?
This is worth the watch!
The ML (Fan Zhi Xin) Bravo! The storyline was interesting, The ML acting throughout was quite impressive. If it wasn't for the best friend and father being literally 'forced' into scenes, it would have been almost perfect. How the ML cared and protected the FL was an intimacy that truly makes you understand how she could not only fall in love, but also want to protect what was important to him. Some of the dialog after the warehouse scene didn't acknowledge the warehouse reveal which made the pace afterwards slightly off. OST very nice. The 2nd hospital scene was trying especially when ML and FL had their phones and were on the same floor. Staging could have been better on that part. Struggling to see each other really wasn't a task. However, that is just being picky. I can take that instead of the over-the-top scenes with the best friend and father.
I appreciate the fact that the story didn't drag.
Very nice flow from scene to scene. Very strong cast. OST is very nice.
With a cleaner edit of some the 'forced' scenes with support characters this would have been 20 episodes and a SOLID 10.
Must watch!

Wonder when it will end.
The leads were beautiful in looks and chemistry, The comedic moments within the series were just enough to ease the seriousness of the moving plots and subplots. The romantic scenes were palpable. However, the momentum of the drama started to drag at points and had scenes that felt like fillers to broaden the episode count. This definitely could have been accomplished much cleaner within 30-35max episodes. The push and pull of emotions as well as temperament between the ML and FL blended well in revealing how they learned from each other and also stopped being as abrasive as they once were. The OST was okay but didn't leave any lasting effect on the scenes. All in all, it is a solid series with beautiful production that can drag but is worth the watch. Was this review helpful to you?
Respect while Learning to Love
This series gives an aire that it is never safe to assume. The ML and FL had very good chemistry. The secondary couple were cute and their part didn't take over the storyline. The writing was good at weaving the challenges of business and family relations. Somethings we have seen before. However, it is always refreshing to have a ML that is solid in his determination to be with FL and protecting their union as well. The FL was good at showing the conflict of striving for better while navigating unnecessary criticism and conflicts. This is a very cute romcom that's worth the watch. Was this review helpful to you?
