Pretty Good MINI - Actors need proper credit
This was a pretty good MINI. However, I noticed that it has been difficult to find out more about the cast. The male lead was pretty good. Nice looks, good non-verbal communication and handsome presence.
For anyone who has been wondering who he is, this is what I could find.

A Story about Firefighting and Love Beautifully Done
The ML and FL connection and innocent chemistry was sweet. The tapestry of challenges that firefighters face as well as those connected to them was captured beautifully. In these dramas most viewers focus on the leads, but the writers were able to give a full experience of the ebb and flow of sacrifice and decisions that surround the lives of the cast. The OST was good for the theme of the show. The support cast and production did very well. This is my first time seeing something with William Chan. I love the dynamics of his character and look forward to his next works. Zhang Ruonan was very good as well. In parts you could see her age, but she will be one to watch moving forward. Definitely worth the watch. Was this review helpful to you?
Writers REALLY need to know When to STOP
ML is nice looking, a pretty good actor and needs better scripts. The FL was okay, but the script kept trying to force scenes and replay too many 'memory' scenes. Production, OST and acting were decent. THIS NEEDS TO TRULY END @ EPISODE 21 @ 10min30sec and WALK AWAY!!!Amnesia in dramas is overly done. But more importantly, this is a mini. Alot of actors get their start in minis in hopes to land major roles. When the editing is choppy, the storyline starts strong and ends sloppy, then viewers can only give it low marks which in turn reflects on the whole production.
I had to take a point away once 22-23 played.....Hot garbage!
Different lifestyles, earthquake and the random book. SMH (trying too much with too little) What were the writers thinking? Throwing in random distractions don't make a storyline interesting. This actually is a grave disservice to the cast and crew. If this ending was to hint at a part 2...STOP THE BLEEDING NOW!
It has become a confusing mess due to the last 2 episodes that veer away from the title completely and the total vibe of the previous 21 episodes.

Interesting, yet trying
I understand where the writers were trying to go. But they didn't quite land the plane. The corruption, violence, mixed relationships and revenge were understandable. Yet, some scenes tried too hard, and others missed the mark. The FL showed range in acting yet by the time you get to the end the believability of desire falls flat. The SFL was all over the place and was in constant conflict of who she described herself as in lieu of what was on the screen. The OST was okay, and the production became choppy in staging, editing and sequence after a while. ML was good in conveying a torn individual within self, love, family and career. The 'romance' believable to a point. I will admit that I felt horribly bad for the ML as he was always the innocent bystander that continued to get injured by others till the very end. Concept script was good, but after seeing the ending, it all feels lacking. It's worth the watch if you want something a bit different with a little edge and if you love looking at Seo Yea Ji.Was this review helpful to you?
Cheesy Mini
This series is okay. ML was not that strong. The SML is one to watch and should get more lead roles. He is very good with passive and nonverbal communication queues. The FL was pretty good and with the right script, she can shine. The overall acting was lackluster. But I don't expect much from an independent mini. OST was little to none and the SFL was a chore to watch. This is a young group of actors, and you can see the 'standouts' as well as who 'needs work'. Editing was a bit choppy, but production was steady. All in all, if you don't have much to do, watch it.Was this review helpful to you?
Worth the watch in 2023
This is a very cute series with strong leads. I love the chemistry between the ML and FL as well as the 'banter' that they have between each other that only they understand. There are times where the communication is lacking. Due to the 'history' of the lead characters, the communication to avoid misunderstandings should be better between them. The support cast is very good. There are a few scenes that are unnecessary and could have been dropped so that the last episode wouldn't feel rushed. The last episode was cute, but definitely rushed. The last episode had a lot of spot 'assumptive' scenes that just left the audience saying 'okay'. The series gave you that 'You are My Glory' feel. However, it's not as tightly executed. This could have been a solid 28 to 30 episode series with tighter editing. Both leads are good. I appreciate the dynamic acting from them both. Good OST and Production. Was this review helpful to you?
Do not waste your time!
What Did I Watch!?!This was a task to finish, but I did.
It dragged too much. To have all these people go on one person's word and not connect the dots to the hell that's running loose is crazy. This supposed 'deep love' that the leads had for each other but can't communicate was tiring. Production was decent and acting was decent. Writing and OST was lack-luster. If this is from a novel, I hope the novel is better.
The ending.... makes you want to throw something at the screen for wasting your time.

The title says it all
This series started off fun and strong. It was a little flirty with just enough business conflict to keep you interested. Somewhere along the line the story veered more into business navigation than that of the leads. The ML and FL were cute to start and afterwards it felt like the writers just wanted us to assume their relationship was steady without issue. It wasn't landing well ...so the writers had to literary have the ML say several times that they have no issues and are good for believability. ML always seemed more vested than the FL and in a clutch towards the end. It seemed unfair of how she handled their 'relationship' as if she could take it or leave it. without a 'true' conversation. The secondary 'winter-spring' relationship I liked more. You could see how they could become a couple. The counselor was the worse. I would hope to never run into someone so unprofessional. They should have just written him as a brother or family friend. The way it ended was so subpar that I had to just take a point away. Why is this series ending at 31 episodes that should have been 24. It was sloppy trying to tie up loose ends and make connections without forethought just to get to the finish line. It is worth watching once. If you are like most Cdrama lovers, you will get tired of it feeling like 'groundhog day' of issues in the middle and want them to get to the end. This is how the writers must have felt because that is how that last episode landed. C-Was this review helpful to you?
It was Okay. Better direction with the female lead was needed.
Pretty good for a Jdrama and DORI. However, the FL made me want to drop the series at every turn. Thank goodness it was short. The deer in headlights and not looking him in his eyes was a bit much. What was the struggle in having self-awareness?Some reviews state that the MLs 'affection' for the FL wasn't explained but it was from the 'trial product' meeting to his creation of a whole cafe that resembled her hometown. Even the supporting characters commented on how much he was changing due to Risa. However, she acted more like a freshman in high school instead of college. Why did the writers feel the need not to allow her to get a little better within herself after each situation? How in the world are you with the ML almost every other day at his home and can't call him by his name? There could have been better direction with the female lead as far as eye movement and non-verbal communication and reactions. The production of the last scene was so 'high school' and laughable. This is how we celebrate a CEO getting married? They would have done better ending it all at the church where he proposed. Ugh.... This could have been so much better.

MUST WATCH! NICE!
Nice series! The flashbacks were not overdone. The BTS scenes before entering into a new episode were nice reveals. ML was strong. FL was relatable with the tug-of-war of emotions trying to sort out situations. This was my first time seeing Tsao Yu Ning. Looking to see him in more lead roles. The story was interesting and did not drag at all. The writers packed a lot within 16 episodes. Supporting cast was solid. The chemistry between the ML and FL was very sexy. The OST was very nice in driving the mood. This is definitely a MUST WATCH!Was this review helpful to you?
Cute Series. Too many scene fillers.
This was a cute series with a slight twist. FL being the overbearing CEO. However, the FL character development was troublesome. FL is smart, bold, innovative in business dealings and completely clueless in personal relations. One might say that is how most of these CEO leads are written, but the problem comes when she can completely mend both the personal softness and CEO boldness with Simon. and not with who she is 'in love' with. ML was pretty good at delayed acting. His slow to act movements felt more off than aloof. I prefer the ML more in the latter half of the series. The OST was nice. This story could have been told in a more profound way 10-15 episodes less. There are times where there are scenes that can be cut easily ' fillers'. By the time you get to episodes 30-35 it is like 'get to the point already'. Because there was so much going on with the main couple, the third couple pairing really was not necessary. Was this review helpful to you?
CLASSIC! BEAUTIFULLY DONE!
The script alone is masterfully written. The lead and supporting cast truly get you lost in the storyline. The OST is perfect. Rowoon's version on YouTube truly showcases what a versatile talent he is. Park Eun-bin is brilliant in her delivery and emotional dynamics throughout. The close calls and nonverbal communication that display shared affections were palpable. This is how great production is done! The attention to detail was awesome! If you are new to kdramas, This is a classic must see!Was this review helpful to you?
Pleasantly Surprised. Very Good!
This was very good. I had not read the overview before watching. The story was very interesting and captivating. The ML and FL really pulled off the dynamic emotional challenges throughout. The OST and production were very good. The ML emotional growth and dilemma throughout was handled well. I enjoyed the supporting cast that truly made the unbelievable almost relatable. The FL (Bravo) She carried that part and delivered. Even the ending was a different take than expected. Beautiful drama. Must watch! Was this review helpful to you?
LOVE IT!!!
I cannot state how many times I have watched this. Great acting with both the main and supporting actors. I love how there was a consistent flow within this series. The soundtrack is A+. New's voice in Spring Breeze is simply heaven. The chemistry between the leads seems natural and earnest and not forced. I appreciate that it was 12 episodes. It was just right. The ending was a little 'cheesy'' and rushed. There were some real magical moments. When FL comes clean and how ML's face softens in the midst is so sweet. The hotel scene #1 (very cute), hotel scene #2 (very sexy). The first 'real' kiss - (special). These actors Ahn Hyo-seop, Kim Se-jeong, Kim Min-kyu, and Seol In-ah are definitely ones to watch. I truly loved this series. Must Watch! Was this review helpful to you?
Love this Series! Can easily Replay Constantly!
Lead, supporting actors, production and graphics team...VERY GOOD!!! I enjoy this series from beginning to end. There are no episodes or scenes that feel unnecessary. The natural chemistry with the cast throughout really feels like you were almost viewing reality TV BTS moments and not plain acting. You can see the tension and gradual growth of the romance budding with the two leads which is even more enjoyable because it does not feel scripted. The funny moments between lead and supporting actors seemed off script, but just right. Love the graphics and OST! Seriously, I hesitated for a while before adding for review. However, I am very glad that I did. It has been a while since I have seen a drama that I don't mind rewatching multiple times. WELL DONE!Was this review helpful to you?
