I think the director's done it so he can circumnavigate fanatic crowds. He could save budget to reduce the focus just on some characters. If the people weren't in the bunkers, they were outside and he had to show how they react.

Maybe a more series-internal view: The government asked the people to go to bunkers to prevent anarchy and chaos. Hope is what dies last, says the proverb. Maybe the government calmed the masses in this way...

Anyhow, the series itself does not answer. And my friend Jpny01 already reminded me: Why search for logic in a Thai BL anyway? I think we have less stress if we do not become obsessed with all the minor or major logic holes here :D

There were times, when everything was toxic. Haven't seen this word for some time, though. Is it out of fashion? I think it nails the relationship between Sher and Fahlan perfectly. I am bored of their interaction and would not even be sad if they'd not come together in the end.

This episode was lame. Maybe mothers are such in Thailand? I mean, Kevin's mom also seems not to be that impressed that her sister has died. Kevin is clearing the house on his own.
When Pluem asked about Jake and Kevin turned away, silent, I nearly freaked out. If my bf did that I think I would even become violent. This behaviour is even worse than saying "Hey, sorry, yeah, I like you, but Jake will be in my heart forever..."
Well, this was the penultimate episode, so we could await some drama, though I would this not really call drama. My exbf and I were always like "Hey, piece of s##t, drop dead, let's break up" and ten seconds later "Dinner is ready, are you coming?" Haha. Okay, these are Thai boys, so they probably fight with each other by dropping the final sentence krup...

So, now ep. 5 I must revise. Not sure what relationship there is. Maybe FreshKicks is right and they are childhood friends, or cousins/other relatives. Mom and Dad were talking about Gap and Gig; no word of another brother. But that could also be a a trick by the director to give us a wrong track. Honestly, not sure. Maybe they even are a secret couple??? Haha...wishful thinking...

My goodness! I try to judge a series or movie by the laws it has given as frame. I accept that the moon will fall iin this series, although it is in reality not possible (keyword: gravitational forces).

How could I watch Star Trek or Lord of The Rings if I were so nitpicky.
But I am really afraid there will be a nonsensical explanation. In fact, it does not matter if the world ends or not. This is BL. The focus is on the leads and their development. The question is not if they come together, but when and how and what drama it will evoke.

Still. I cannot log out from my brain and sometimes thoughts appear telling me "Oh, that's not possible". I wish I could ignore things like that sometimes. Others obviously can.

I think Earth can play better than Fluke. I cannot see any development in Fluke's playing from My Bromance up to the disaster of Oh my Sunshine...

Earth, however, is just looking too young and innocent. He is now 26, but I could not see him being someone in a responsible position (business man, police, son of an evil Mafia godfather). He is just condemned to be a pupil or student. He really needs to work on a niche for his future, and I hope it is not crying. He reminds me a bit of a child actor, who will be successful when young, but never can overcome this and will fail later.

All I remember from episode 5 is Lomnaw's legs. LOL.

The first episode had a lot of logic problems already, I agree. One other thing I cannot understand is, why the government would close the bunkers so early.

The problem of these series is that they are BL. So they will function in BL ways. I rather would like to see a SciFi series with BL elements. We can see that in The Miracle of Teddy Bear. That was just NOT a BL series, it was a lakorn, so the writers made it lakorn.

Till the world ends is a BL, so they will focus on portrying the main leads way to find each other. They probably will even fight about their jealosy of ex-gf and stuff, when the moon already has dropped down and crushed half of the Earth.

That is a problem of Thai BL in general: I have the feeling they just cannot overcome the defiition of their genre. That is also why everything is going to be repetitive (wiping scenes, being drunk scenes, sickness scenes in general, evil ex-gf,....).

Anyhow. Though I write a bit critical, I am not saying this is bad. It is a bit of slow, though.

Reminds me of Roland Emmerich's Moonfall. I found that movie total crap. Maybe that's why I am biased of this series here now.

I also think they are brothers. Grandpa obviously does not like singers, so I guess Maipai is the black sheep of the family and that's why the photo is cut. But we do not know yet...

I also do not get it. I understand, Golf is his crush. But they've been communicating for more than ten years by now. Golf had sent his photo with the first letter. I would be angry if I did not get anything in return - within ten years...
And now Gun starts lying. If this does not make all worse...

One thing I do not like with this series is the absoluteness of the title. Either there is the end of the world, and we will maybe see the main leads coming together, only to die in the end. Or, and I am sure, that this is the case here... There will not be the end of the world and humanity will survive (including our mains).
Unfortunately, I am not convinced that Thai BL writers are creative enough to give us now a good reason why they will survive... (Aliens? Time travel? Just a dream? A series in the series?)...

I think they are lost. You are right, I watch now several series and the same scenes over and over again. I think they just do the filming now for marketing purposes, to fill as much time to present products and do ads. And the rest of the time is filled with non-content.

I am especially pi##ed, because this isn't the only series with endless repetitive stuff: Fahlanruk and Remember Me... Same scenes, same plots all over again.

Maybe. I just wondered if there are different versions. They must have revised the subs then.

Was it not subbed in your version? Because there were subs saying "He promised" when Name did that.

Every week the same issues. Fight - reconciliation - flight. I feel like in "Reset", over and over again. This is episode 9 already and there is no development. The preview for next week? Well, fight again...
