My Beautiful Journey is so underrated! It's really good. I can't wait for season 2. Twelve, on the other hand, isn't even worth its 4.2%! A total disaster in my humble opinion! MDS's acting is really clumsy! Why is this actor so highly praised? I don't understand at all!
This drama is a total disaster! Even acting isn't good! Everything looks AWKWARD! The fights scenes for example are poorly filmed (Ma Dong Seok gets on my nerves) + unnecessary scenes about food + almost no extras, which makes our characters seem to be the only ones, or almost, in a city emptied of its inhabitants++++ It's so WEIRD, like a very low budget movie. Why did famous actresses and actors accept to take a role in such a bad series? Haven't they read the script? It's beyond my understanding,
I see Ma Dong Seok is also listed as Screenwriter - maybe he shouldn't have given his character so much onscreen…
My thoughts exactly As I said in my comment Ma Dong Seok gets on my nerves! It's the first time I see him in a drama too and will try to avoid him next time.
And the fight scenes are very poorly filmed. In the first episode we clearly see an actor falling even though…
He explained it in a previous interview : as he was criticized for always shooting the same fight scenes, he said he was going to adapt his fight to imitate a tiger, since he represents the tiger in the drama.
Why does it feel like low production drama for some reason? They have great cast but dialogues and Direction is…
And the fight scenes are very poorly filmed. In the first episode we clearly see an actor falling even though he hasn't even been hit. Besides, Ma Dong Seok trying to imitate a tiger's moves is only ridiculous .
I haven't read the webcomic and, when I saw the script for this movie, I thought it could be a good story. Plus, I really like fantasy. Despite the very bad ratings and all the negative comments, I decided to watch the movie. It's not that bad, in my opinion. I liked the special effects and the moral: in the end, nothing is written in advance and by making efforts, we can get out of it, even in the worst situations, if we help each other instead of acting selfishly. That's the lesson I learned from it. And honestly, I found the movie 100 times better than the first two episodes of Twelve!
