Not Changshou and Ao Yi competing to see who can put a bigger show lol. That fight was absolute gold🤣🤣
I'm also watching Whispers of Fate right now and Ao Ziyi's character Chi Yun always reminded me of Lei Wujie from Blood of Youth, so watching both Ao Ruipeng and Ao Ziyi as chaotic characters here feels like Lei Wujie and Chi Yun in an alternate universe🤣🤣
Finished the first 3 eps and I love how fun it is so far. I'm loving Changshou and Ao Ruipeng being Ao Ruipeng is such a vibe, I love him in fun and chaotic roles.
Should I watch "How Dare You?! 2025" before this?!
Both are adapted from the same novel and follow the same storyline, just different formats. So, you don't need to watch both. You can just watch this one first to avoid getting spoilers and watch that later if you still want to as that's way shorter.
I didn't quite understand Yuan Wuhuo and Butterfly Demon's whole story, can you explain it to me?
After the OG Yuan Wuhuo went to the cave to die, the original butterfly demons (the twins) tried to absorb his memories on Jiu Ying's command, but Yuan Wuhuo had a very strong will and so it took them years to absorb his memories and ended up losing themselves in the process. As a result, the butterfly twins sort of merged with Yuan Wuhuo and absorbed his two obsessions - protect Ji Ling (Li Jie) and free Ji Ling (achieved by killing him, butterfly demon Yuan Wuhuo).
Watched the first two eps and it feels so old school and silly, I love it! Also not sure if it's just me, but this kinda reminds me of Strong Woman Do Bong Soon.
Same for me. I've watched about 50 dramas this year and VoS is still the best. I've officially hit a drama slump now so I'm thinking if I'm finally ready to rewatch VoS.
Just watched the donghua ending and anyone who wants to see a bit more of the ending should definitely check out the last episode. It follows the novel ending more closely and has a more proper closure to the story.
Guess who finally finished her first VoS fanart after procrastinating for 4 months👀It wasn't planned but I got to post it on VoS's 4-month anniversary, so it worked out lol.
Watched the special episode and it was so cutee. Thank goodness it existed because the abrupt ending was so not it. And as much as I loved the happy ending, I wish they at least tried to provide some explanation. The final arc and the plot in general was pretty underwhelming but I enjoyed the humour and Huayong's theatrics, so it's still an overall 8.5/10.
I watched episodes 1-2 of "Overdo" and read some comments regarding future events. It's funny how it works,…
I don't know where you were when this drama was airing but there were plenty of people here too who called out the ML's manipulative behaviour. Some people still liked him in spite of it, but it was generally acknowledged that he was a red flag and many of his actions were problematic.
I’m on episode 23, and I can feel the chemistry between them, which I like. I also like both of the main leads.…
Wuyi said that he fell in love at first sight so there's no concrete 'why' he loves her but every time she helped him with his blindness, his brother, his mother - his love grew stronger.
For Jiayu, I thought it was easier to see her emotional transition. At first, she liked Li Mao and was solely focused on him as a love interest and saw and helped Wuyi only as a friend. After Li Mao entered the palace, she could feel him growing distant and she also started questioning her feelings until they had a clear breakup when she confronted him about not leaving the palace and taking a consort. Then she had a duration where she focused on herself when she asked Wuyi for a divorce and still saw Wuyi as somewhat of a friend until they met again in Liangfeng fort (?) when she fell in love with him.
Just watched the first ep and I'm invested but what in the short drama is this plot and direction 😠Wait is this actually classified as a short drama?
He should survive if they follow the novel and what they filmed lol.
That's good to hear! Is it a miracle doctor👀? Even though I did say I'll take even the miracle doctor, I do hope they have a more plausible explanation for the cure lol. (No wait, don't give me spoilers, I'll wait till I watch it)
I'm also watching Whispers of Fate right now and Ao Ziyi's character Chi Yun always reminded me of Lei Wujie from Blood of Youth, so watching both Ao Ruipeng and Ao Ziyi as chaotic characters here feels like Lei Wujie and Chi Yun in an alternate universe🤣🤣
