There are old accounts here who clearly remember Rui’s fans, esp during the golden age that produced these 100k+ comments. Don’t act like they’ve forgotten everything or are naive fools. Attacking even Jasmine for sharing her personal view about Rui’s fans... we’ve all been through it all with her...just to stir another drama between JJY’s and Rui’s fandoms..

How it sounds is subjective... If you read more carefully I was speaking in general and in a neutral tone. I wasn’t implying that excessiveness is the case here... not did I say or implied that hundreds of posts are made.
It’s up to each person to decide what they find excessive... some may,..some may not found that smth is excessive. Don’t read what I wrote through a negative lens..that’s unnecessary... I commented in good faith to answer your question.. and I did so. You may not like my answer for whatever reason...but for me... it ends here..

I'm not sure what you're referring to...but I don't see anything wrong with hyping any vos actor...incl jjy...as much as fans want when it's vos related. Mentioning other achievements like promos...events...or endorsements etc once in a while is also fine..
The issue is only when it becomes excessive and that's why those kinds of posts usually go on the actor's page. I know that Rui's page gets almost daily updates with these other things. If every fandom wrote about other non vos-related achievements....the page would stop feeling like a vos page and would become a lot to scroll through for people..casuals and not so active fans who come here occasionally and just for vos..

I love fantasy.. they can be a bit limiting tho: demon.. demon hunter..cultivator or immortal… on repeat 😅 It’s hard to find ones with a deeper, captivating story like DC for example..and where romance isn’t a main focus...HD also seems to have that...and gjm is good with those...also i need Rui in wuxia 🙏 to work with some other director..
Haven’t watched many historicals...they tend to focus more on romance and some politics and have to rely heavily on dialogue to be good, so they really need a very skilled scriptwriter to pull it off well..and that’s a problem...i haven’t finished many..
The HD fandom seems so picky they can’t see a single actress among so many who could play the girl...and many are against live action in the first place...def a very vocal crowd that’s hard to please...
