Most people here know better than to fully trust anything unconfirmed...so no reminder is needed. But there are levels of belief and hope... stronger or weaker depending on the various factors. With each new piece of info I mentioned earlier.... people started thinking the drama airing in January was getting more likely than not, and that belief gradually grew. That’s why I wrote about high hopes... not full trust and why people here and fanbases elsewhere out there started acting accordingly. Their hopes weren’t random or completely baseless ..if they were, it would be foolish... that’s not the case here. It made sense for them to start believing more and i don't see any problem with that..ofc they know that only an official schedule once published deserves a full trust..but every hope sparks some emotions..no reason to deny it or ask of ppl never to hope or feel anything until the air date is officially published..or telling them it was foolish of them to ever start believing at the level we've seen on this page...or on other platforms..

Nothing official... sure...but when accounts with a solid reliable track record say it, some vos actors hint at it.. one assistant casually backs it up....and fan bases go into a prep mode..well.... high hopes get born on more than just a hunch...With such high hopes come the good happy fellings..and the hype...and if the dramatic flip happens...well.. disappointment and all sorts of emotional pain follow. But luckily it’s just a drama....so it'll be over in a day or two. Hope that answers your question😏
Yep...but Zhang Shian also said in Dec that it's coming really soon (January).. so the rumors got more legs to stand on. ..then we saw JJY's assistant..and someone wrote here on the page that Liu Yu (I think) hinted at it...btw who started these.. will air in March...rumours?

I'm totally fine with minimal promo....bts, teasers and trailers work just fine for me, not just for vos, but for other dramas too. I usually don't watch most of the other promo stuff anyway. Many are probably fine with that... so I don't think vos is much different....

This is just my guess based on what we know ..money related. The fire accident was costly, they also had to shoot some scenes outside the planned schedule (that Yanan and Rui tribal arc) and with 4 companies backing the project ...with all the delays and the fire accident it’s possible the promo budget got smaller..

It was just a rumor with little or no meat on it. Same with Deng Wei as the ML... they started following each other on Weibo and ppl constructed the story..gjm has way too many weibo followers with nothing to do except stalk him and write fics..😁
