I think it’s still too early. From the trailers and what we’ve seen so far...he seems connected to time manipulation and having that ability, so my guess is that Lwy is probably using it..
When I was searching Chinese myths about foxes having these abilities...they do exist, but it was more about time distortion....creating illusions where time feels longer and erryone inside isn’t aware they’re in one...everything feels real. Think of it as a highly upgraded Star Stone illusion thing.,,couldn’t really find anything about time reversal.
So I was thinking either gjm is making his own story abt time reversal or he is making a story how all this what we've seen so far ...or parts of it.. is some kind of illusion...maybe to collect information, flesh out the things abou jiu ying and its minions, to prepare everything up for all of them so that they could finally defeat jiu ying...or maybe he just wanted to save lwy from jiu ying influence..
I still dont get how Jishi and Jiling are connected. Is it Jiling, as the fox who had that ability all along....cause we saw he didn’t really have powers except those given to him...so maybe this was actually his own ability. And now I’m thinking the ring might have suppressed it somehow, and without it, that time ability could now finally emerge in the form of Jishi. I'm dying to know but I'm avoiding the spoilers like crazy..🤓

1. Neither of them are green ape demons...they’re both human. In the illusion the demon YWH entered the human YWH’s body, and LJ entered Xizai’s body.
2. YWH and Xizai from the past looked different..they weren’t twins. We see them having the same face cause in all the illusions, we see the present day appearance..nd it's demon YWH and LJ who look the same, not the past YWH nd Xizai.
3. Yes, in the events from the past they pretended, and the Shilin sect was the destination to take the stone, but in the illusion it was demon YWH who wanted the stone for his own gains, he also tried to kill LJ.
4. You’ll see later what happened to Xizai, and there are already hints about his connection to Jiling (the fox / fake Chiwen). YWH became the commander.
5. The butterfly demon twins were supposed to devour the old commander’s memories, but how i understood it... unexpected happened. Two bodies emerged from a cocoon...one is human LJ, with strong abilities but no memories...and the other is the six eyed butterfly demon YWH who had the past memories. This probably happened cause commander was too difficult to fully consume and devour his memories ...as was mentioned here.. plus there will be an additional story to explain the other reason causing the splitting into two..

Fascinating is the brand he works with, nd i remember seeing on his page a live stream in mid April, so it's probably this one..

This is where the illusion started, all we see is just an illusion 😁

LWY had enough of the same loop and fighting over and over again...and he was like,..take a nap, I'll replace you😁

It’s not really that different from Jiling’s story as a puppet. The theme of identity was opened through him....despite being made of wood, everything he felt was real. He didn’t know the truth about himself, and why would he? He could think, feel, and believed he had free will... just like anyone else. He didn’t know his initial memories weren’t truly his, but he was still roaming the world and building his own experience from them.

With Lwy, it’s just a bit different, Yes, the real Jiling is connected to his puppet through his own memories....which makes it more personal. She has modified memories from someone else....but more like a fragment rather than a full transfer from Su Jian..If it were complete...she would have everything, like her memories of her mother, her personality traits, and they are definitely different..

So I think only one memory fragment was used...the memories linked to the emotional part ...that is the sisterly bond with wwy. Just enough for them to connect and recognize each other as sisters when lwy was "born" nd started her life. And from that point, their sisterly bond naturally continued just to grow.
But lwy thinks and feels like anyone else, has her own identity as she is today..She like him didn’t suspect anything until the moment she found out.
And the way she was created....from flesh and blood..connected to her sisters, with wwy’s heart..it's just the material, and it isn’t really different from being made of wood.
And like with organ transplants..you don’t get with it someone's feelings.. right? 😄

Repeating something a 1000 times doesn’t make it true...it just makes it boring...

You keep talking about gjm, but we agree on one thing.. you want to say goodbye to him after this drama nd i couldn't support you more. He is not for you.
You've missed seeing so many details about the plot, the character arcs, esp the main four, and what the three major themes are..sometimes it seems that even the basics escape you.
You are too focused on powers and who gets to be the most powerful and if it's possibly to see them in a solo scene...then Marvel and DC might be more your cup of tea...
Don't get me wrong... i like them too, but i would never expect to look for them in gjm’s work. His isn't for everyone nd it doesn't have to be..he has a huge base of ppl who follow and likes his work ... maybe surprisingly for you but mjty and fof aren't the only ones..and as someone who watched almost everything he did, incl less known work, i can tell you already now... maybe to save you time to waste, but what you want, isn't in it and will not be..
