I'm still watching episode 16 and MJL's advisor has a point! He says, Prince Ding is not their enemy. They are working for the same goal. And he even asked MJL why he is treating prince ding as an enemy. I think it's because of Ye Li. Not just bc she married him, but she is actually like happy with him. And MJL is jealous. If that's the reason then I'd say he is so stupid
