Title:"A Financial Tycoon Pampers a White Rose" | 金融大佬,娇养一朵白玫瑰 ML: Zhou Hao Shan | 周吴杉 (cannot find on MDL) FL: Dong Yue Yu | 董玥妤
The story begins when the grandfather adopts the granddaughter of his late friend after his passing. Wanting to honor that promise, he entrusts his grandson with taking care of her and preparing her to eventually take over the family business. At the time, the female lead is suffering from trauma-induced mutism after a shocking incident and struggles to reconnect with the world around her.
As she grows up, she falls in love with the male lead, her guardian's uncle, and openly pursues him. Although he clearly has feelings for her as well, he tries to keep his distance romantically, believing it would be inappropriate to influence her feelings while she is still dependent on him. This makes the romance a slow burn, but a very rewarding one.
One of my favorite parts of the drama was the male lead's family. The grandfather, the assistant, the younger brother, and the sister were all intelligent, supportive, and several steps ahead of the scheming villains. It was satisfying to watch them protect the female lead and help expose those who wanted to harm her.
The female lead's journey of overcoming her trauma and escaping her abusive adoptive family was also handled well. The male lead cared for her in every way, and their relationship remained free of unnecessary cheating, love triangles, or toxic misunderstandings. Overall, it's a sweet and heartwarming story with good acting, strong family dynamics, and a couple that is easy to root for.

The setup mostly revolves around the baby but they don’t even bother to hide the fake baby (doll) and the fake crying. Even the way these people holding the newborn are wrong .
This plot & storyline has high potential if produced right. Story is about FL being hit by car that forced her into early labor & amnesiac. The perpetrator kidnap her and gave her new identity (his gf) while the FL forgot everything about the ML, the baby & the life before. ML tried to get close to FL by any means possible including hire her as the wet nurse.
Honestly, apart from the casts; this drama is poorly produced. The character written has no actual depths (things like emotional complications & growth), they ignore alot of crucial details (the baby, settings), script & dialogue is mediocre, storyline is weak. I watched this till the end for Zhang Beixi (ML actor). I really wanna see a remake of this plot with better production. ML actor for the remake needs to step up their game because Zhang Beixi portrayal here is splendid .
Title: Deeply in Love with Her | 深念于她 ML: Zhang Bei Xi | 张北淅 FL: Bai Xu Han | 白旭含 Shi Nian, the eldest daughter of the Shi family, catches her fiancé Jin Yuan spending a fortune on a birthday party for his secretary, Jiang Yan, and openly cheating on her during the event. She decisively calls off the engagement, but Jin Yuan threatens her with the business partnership between the Shi and Jin families.
Upon discovering that Jin Yuan's uncle and the head of the Jin family, Jin Shen, is currently blind dating—and has just had a failed encounter—Shi Nian approaches him directly with a marriage proposal. After their marriage, she takes charge of putting the scumbag and his mistress in their place, while he provides her with unwavering support and protection. She believes this marriage is merely a mutually beneficial contract, unaware that it is actually a long-planned, deep-seated affection.
You had me at intelligent story and beautiful visuals.
It's definitely worth watching, but you need to pay close attention to the details because this isn't the kind of drama you can casually leave playing in the background. If you're familiar with Edward Guo's previous works, you'll already know what you're getting into. And if you're not, then good luck with your new discovery. One thing he never fails at is collecting a cast full of face cards who can actually act.
Title: Fish Follow the Current to Land ML: Hei Ze FL: Zhao Xi Xi
This drama stands out with outstanding chemistry right from the first episode and delivers a genuinely romantic love story with one of the strongest plots of the year. Beautifully filmed with a mix of small fishing-town atmosphere and a layered crime storyline, it follows two people who naturally fit together and slowly fall in love while figuring each other out.
The relationship feels authentic and refreshing, with real conversations, playful moments, and even spontaneous laughter during intense scenes, which adds a sense of realism to their chemistry. The leads are fantastic together, supported by a strong ensemble cast that enhances the overall storytelling.
Sun Lu is the obedient daughter of a senior prosecutor, forced into a teaching career after her parents dismiss her dream of becoming an artist, and pressured toward an unwanted marriage. Her life shifts when she meets Chen Xudong, a former maritime officer whose past is marked by tragedy and wrongful conviction.
Now living a quieter life running an aquarium shop, he appears calm on the surface but carries deep emotional burdens, responsibilities, and an adopted child he cares for unconditionally. His life mirrors the image of isolated fish he keeps, symbolizing his loneliness and hidden struggles.
What truly makes the romance powerful is Sun Lu’s unwavering trust in his character. For Chen Xudong, that trust becomes healing, making their relationship not just romantic but deeply restorative and meaningful. 10/10
Title: Shen Qiao Is Not Too Late ML: Wang Daotie FL: Guo Yu Xin SML: Ying Zhennan
This drama revolves around a marriage of convenience where the leads are already married when the story begins. For the female lead, the marriage is purely a business arrangement, while for the male lead, it has always been about love. Despite loving her for years, he never truly makes an effort to build trust or emotional intimacy after their marriage, leaving the female lead distant and indifferent to the relationship.
Everything changes when the female lead's ex-boyfriend returns from abroad. As the man she once genuinely loved, his return shakes the fragile balance of their marriage. With the ex openly trying to win her back and deliberately provoking the male lead, the cracks beneath the male lead's calm and composed facade begin to show. What follows is not just a love triangle but a journey where the married couple finally gets the chance to build the relationship they should have had from the start.
I really enjoyed this drama. The chemistry between the leads was excellent, and the emotional tension created by the returning ex added just enough drama without becoming overly frustrating. The male lead's quiet devotion was one of the strongest aspects of the story. He had loved Shen Yiqiao for years and patiently stayed by her side, caring for her in ways she often didn't even notice. Watching him slowly step out of the shadows and fight for his marriage made the romance all the more satisfying.
At its core, this is a story about love, trust, and learning to choose the person who has always been there for you. The plot is simple but engaging, and the relationship development between the leads is what truly makes it worth watching.
Title:Sweet Hong Kong-Beijing Marriage ML:Wang Nan FL:
The story revolves around an arranged marriage between a successful director and a former rising actress who returns to the entertainment industry after taking a three-year break following her successful debut. The female lead struggles with abandonment and trust issues, shaped by a childhood with an actress mother and a controlling father. In contrast, the male lead genuinely wants her to thrive, supporting her dreams and encouraging her to succeed rather than holding her back.
What I enjoyed most was the romance and the relationship development between the leads. The male lead clearly loved her from the very beginning and understood how to handle her emotional scars with patience and care. Instead of trying to change her, he consistently supported her, respected her boundaries, and helped her regain confidence in both her career and herself. Their chemistry felt natural, and watching their relationship gradually grow stronger was one of the best parts of the drama. 9.5/10

Through separation and growth across two lifetimes, the two finally uncover the deep love they had silently carried for each other all along.
Leads had chemistry! Their emotions, portrayal of doubt, being desperate, loving so much it hurts, despair, vulnerability! I’ve watched a different version of FL being reborn in high school (difference is ML was a firefighter, even though he has fire phobia. He became a firefighter because FL said she was into firefighters. He died in his on duty), but it didn’t feel this good! From the moment FL was reborn, it was obvious she would stick to ML, till death do them part.

Title: Time and You Are Both Beautiful | 时光和你都很美 ML: Chen Tian Xiang | 陈添祥 FL: Guo Yu Xin | 郭宇欣
This is a slow-burn drama with a very innocent tone and not many kiss scenes. There are a few “green tea” characters, but they are quickly handled and don’t really affect the main couple. The pacing is quite slow, so it’s something to go into with patience. Still, the drama is well-shot, well-acted, and has great cinematography, making it easy and pleasant to watch.
I really enjoyed the small details, especially how the female lead always shares food given by the male lead with her roommates. Both leads delivered strong performances, and overall their acting really stood out. I’m genuinely grateful to have found this drama.
It’s not the best drama I’ve ever seen, but it’s definitely not bad either. The male lead starts off a bit distant and uncomfortable, but once he realizes he misunderstood the female lead, he begins treating her with more respect. I also liked that the female lead doesn’t hide her identity or chase him in an embarrassing way; she stays polite and composed. The male lead does have flaws, but he’s not completely oblivious either.
The only real downside for me was the ending, which felt a bit rushed and abrupt, and I wish there had been more development or even a second season to see the couple’s relationship further.
I could have overlooked this, because it seems 59% of dramas have Blossom in the title! It's on my Watch Next…
I get you, every time I see “Blossom” in a title I’m like, not another one again 😭 But this one is genuinely worth it. I’d totally rewatch it. I still have beef with Youku for partially ruining the experience for me, though. Hopefully you’ll enjoy it as much as I did!

I moved it to "Low Priority." I know I'm blunt (and that does cause problems), but I've never allowed…
I get it honestly. I actually have a pretty high tolerance for misunderstandings and miscommunication in dramas if they at least make sense emotionally, but this is one of the few dramas where it genuinely started irritating me. It got so frustrating at one point that I probably would have dropped it completely if the second couple wasn’t there to keep me invested.
