This drama was a refreshing take on the arranged marriage trope. For once, the couple didn’t act shy, awkward, or distant with each other. Instead, they felt like a real young couple who actually liked being together from the start. Their comfort, teasing, and natural chemistry made their relationship enjoyable to watch. What I appreciated most was how their relationship developed openly. There were no unnecessary secrets, no contract marriage complications, and no dragged-out misunderstandings ruining things between them. They genuinely dated, communicated, and built their bond step by step. The female lead taking initiative and the male lead openly reciprocating made their dynamic feel balanced and cute. Small details, like him sharing their everyday moments, added a nice touch. That said, the drama isn’t without flaws. The pacing feels uneven at times, especially with how long it takes to get to the wedding and how certain identity reveals are unnecessarily delayed. Some plot points, particularly the revenge arc and a few exaggerated scenes, feel unrealistic and slightly frustrating. The emotional foundation of their love could have been developed a bit more deeply as well. Overall, it’s an easy and enjoyable watch with a likable couple and strong chemistry. It may not be perfect, but its light, straightforward romance and refreshing dynamic make it worth watching.

I'm saving this to watch later, because it deserves to stand on its own without being compared to Go Ahead.
Honestly, that’s exactly what I did too, I waited so I could watch it with a fresh mind. And it is definitely good on its own. But yeah, once you start comparing, it does fall short, and I kind of felt bad seeing all the reviews and comments from fans of the original. You can tell they really tried to fix the common complaints like toning down certain dynamics and balancing relationships better and in many ways, they succeeded. I actually liked most of the changes. My only real issue was the FL. She just didn’t bring that natural teenage charm, especially compared to how effortlessly it was done in the original. Even the styling felt more focused on making them look polished rather than believable as teens, which made that phase a bit less convincing for me.

You definitely should it’s worth it, especially with the 50% off deal. But you can first try it on YouTube since it’s available there too. The only downside is that some subtitles are missing or not the best, so the experience isn’t perfect. Honestly, I’d still rewatch it on iQIYI for the better subtitles and much nicer picture quality.

I absolutely love this story! The male lead's parents are so gentle, and his younger brother is both adorable and hilarious. This drama doesn't focus on family conflicts, but rather on the female lead's family life with her husband, in-laws, and brother-in-law. The male lead is simply the gentlest person in the world; he even protected her before her reincarnation. I loved how he showed off the watch the female lead gave him to his parents at 3 AM. This drama is so sweet and adorable!

FL thinks her psycho gangster husband is a gentle sweet summer child who should be protected at all costs and ML thinks his violent gluttonous money grubbing wife is a perfect goddess who can do no wrong and should be spoiled to bits they deserve each other and it's great that they got married so they can't harm society

I really enjoyed the non-drama of it all; the show handled serious topics and gave us romance to root for but…
I completely get what you mean about the “non-drama” aspect, that quiet, grounded storytelling really made everything feel more real and impactful. Those subtle moments hit so much harder than over-the-top scenes, and the romance felt natural instead of forced.
But yes, the best friend’s ending was kind of bittersweet.
And same here, this is definitely the kind of show where certain scenes just stay with you and make you want to revisit them.
