:D Can You hear my heart wasn;t really a good drama. I object to the treatment of the dad. They have totally objectified the dad in Can you hear my heart. I have a feeling I will like Joo Ji Hoo in Five fingers though :P I should rewatch the devil one of these days. He was so lonely in the devil it was hard not to sympathise at least partially.

Really? Better than Mishil???? Or does Mishiol remain your number 1 and this woman here the number 2?

I heard a lot of good things about this drama (I have seen 2 eps so far) but I just cant seem to get into it.…
The Chaser k-drama doesn't have romance either

By the way, I just saw your recommendation for soratobu Tayia you really made me laugh with your statement that Hanzawa Naoki is a samurai-banker- I find this to be spot on! :)

Well I loved Sword and Flower but if you don't like long silences and tensions, then you may get easily bored with it. It;s more artistic than your average k-drama, and artistic isn't usually appealing for many viewers. This drama is more mature in the way it doesn't really make you frustrated in watching it as most regular dramas too. Only towards the end does it introduce a totally insane character. Other than that there are lots of silences and it's slow so I think you'd find it a little boring, but maybe you can give it a go and see for yourself. Who knows, maybe the mood will be right and you'll like it? I'm looking for more of such dramas. I don't really like the popular dramas.

How could I not be? Millennium Actress is one of my all time favourite anime movies, a brilliant film. I also watched paprika. Perfect Blue and Tokyo Godfathers are on my PTW. But I utterly loved Millenioum Actress, a brilliant little film.

I see. We can put it on hold until you have your test, if that's what you prefer. Tomorrow, I will be back around 5:00 GMT time, that's -2 hrs. I'll turn on skype for a while, then switch because around 6:00 GMT I usually talk with my home. After that I can switch back to skype again. Good luck learning for the test, don't exhaust yourself though.

Right, that would just bring the story and effort down a notch or two, dont want them to invent things either, unless they cooperate with the original writer. Well, let's see. I think Sakai's acting added an acerbic layer to that aggressiveness, making him actually a rather unpleasant character; though we understand his motivations it's like something is not right with him. As long as he can keep the balance, it should be fine, but didn;t he even get a bit aggressive-defensive at home at one point when Hana was trying too hard to help? Workplace can do it to people. In this respect, I found myself liking Kondo much more- his "betrayal" is somehow more humane. A long series like a taiga drama perhaps?

I am too tired to be constantly busy so I"m, hanging around MDL a bit more these days. I'm worried about him because he really seemed too aggressive, but I thought that was because he was driven by revenge. But honestly he was aggressive wile doing the kendo practice with Kondo. I wonder, very often, whether it's possible to maintain your sense of self in a world as ruthless as that. I do think some sort of follow-up is in order, maybe a movie though. I like Hana a lot though. Well, I would say Jade Palace had its cute moments and the leads are definitely a plus so I'll look forward to hearing from you on that one. I think I am, I just don't know what I want. I was thinking of starting Daughter Seo Young but I think I may not yet be ready to commit to such a long series.

Not really. I just like rewatching dramas to see if I still like them. It's necessary for me to rewatch to determine whether a drama is actually good or bad. Because with time my perspective changes. I also re-reread books because of a similar reason.

Person Ji Sung
His style most freqently is to just be charming. He seems to have an inner energetic kid that is often projected into his characters. I liked him in Kim Soo Ro for this reason, he played that role with Ji-sung-like grace. Sorry if I sound tacky but his eyes turn into something like shiny onyxes when he gets all teary. He's got a nice voice too- enough to charm the socks off ladies. All in all I definitely like him. He's a decent actor. As far as I know he has a passion for it so I think he does try to do his best. However, Kim So Roo is the only drama so far that I found decent. Secret Love is a terrible drama with a ridiculous and over-the-top cliched plot; its only redeeming feature is Ji Jung trying to do his best.

I think you may like it because it has several stories. You may like Joo Won in there perhaps, I think his story is the most turbulent among all the brothers. Happy watching :)
