I"m watching to see what Yi San will do, and I also want to know when will Secretary Hong reveal his true intentions, I don't trust him completely...but the prince sees him as a friend, I hope he won;t be broken hearted, seeing that he loves his friends very much. oh by the way, I didn't know we had a new feature - newsfeed. Pretty coo1l!

ohhh I'll be interested in your opinions on the Chaser! It's quite hollywoody but with a very typically Korean touch. Moreover the main character evokes a lot of sympathy. I m watching a long saeguk called Yi San, where I completely fell in love with the eponymous character. I have also finished watching A tale of wo sisters...nit an easy film to watch, but clever. I think it could have used more connectivity at times, you have to watch it quite closely to try to undersdtand what's actually hapenning.

by the way, are you going to watch the next part of the new star Trek? I am actually looking forward to it. I've always been a great fan of Kirk and spock, I"m actually exited that J.j Abrams is giving them a new breath of life and I find the two actors quite fitting.

a clever film, that actually makes you do a little thinking. it certainly needs to be watched in a more focused manner, especally if you come to the movie without being spoiled what it is actually about. If you know what the theme is before watching it, you know what to look out for Camerawork is actually quite useful in helping decipher some things. Def one of my favourite films.

I thnk it shows in the end that the nurse is concerned but it's sumi;s anger that actually leads ti her sister's death. I really don't think the nurse was bad, it was just Sumi who portrayed her this way. But I got a sense of anger because the entire situation was difficult to take for the girls and perhaps the nurse was trying to offer some normality, but how can you accept a woman with your father when your mother is ill? I think I understand....or the girls may have misunderstood which led to the entire situation. I'm sorry to hear about your dad. I can see that this film is also menaingful to you. You seem to be astrong person, bokami, especially after all this. I hope you will always be able to be strong and never lose to despair. <br /><br />and under this circusmtance...I am actually suprised that the dad in the movie maintains calm...very strong personality?

haha. well it is a worthwile puzzle to spend time on but to be honest, the camerawork os pretty telling, i justy hadn;t noticed it at first. whenerver there is father and stepmother, there are JUST the two of them, which should have told me from the start that it is in fact Sumi. Especially in the scene where she is trying to kill herself thinking it is the stepmther. How much anger and despir this is! And the she actually realises it too...or so I think. This film is just so clever!

yeah she was but isn;t it that the father and the nurse were attracted to each other? So I think she had reasons to be angry. I am rewatching it because I need to make sense of it, but it helps to have your clarifications for this one.

That's why I thought this here was an interesting twist on the theme, adding meaning to Anthony's further life. At the samwe time, what it is interesting he is entering the world of imagination with radio dramas- but I think we can differentiate between imagination and fictious constructions of himself. Well I think I read on soompi t some fragments of interview with the writer- I think he wasn't exactly disappointed with the extension though he knew it may be controversial.

Well I certainly appreciate your point of view but I will disagree: I really liked the ending as it was and to be honest I think it is very redepmtive for Anthony given that he is now blind. I also thought the scene at the hospital was not unrealistic-my mome (doctor) explained to me that there is always a couple of minutes of waiting after defibriliation. 3 minutes I think as during this time the heart my come back to normal. Anyway, I thought the blindness was punishment enough and at the same time an opening for him to live in a more meanigful way. He went from fiction to reality. Note, he had been constructing himself throughout the drama, until he finally came out with some truths and this coincided with him starting to lose sight.

oh yeah, because the sister had died. I have seen the film now in entirety, but your explanations make a lot of sense of what I saw. I need to reanalyse this, because my mind is trully boggled :D what a film to confuse me so but then I had issues with understanding Primer since it got so messed up with all the travelling back and forth. I really appreciate these explanations, bokami. there was the real mother who had died and the real stemother appears at the end and argues with Su Mi while her sister is shown dying which scene makes me really angry because the two of them could have helped her if they had stopped arguing.

I hope things are okay.I watched Chaser the movie this morning, it was very good- disturbing as it should be, pulls the right strings. I am trying to watch a tale of two sisters but I think I"m not in the mood because I can;t get into it at all, it's also disturbing but somehow even more nerve-wrecking. I am not sure I can watch it in one sitting. Or maybe the film isn't for me....though i can feel the tensions from the start and they are incredible. the older sister is really disturbing but..I just don;t seem to have the patience to focus on this film for the time being, I guess I'll have to return to it later, it;s not an easy watch at all.

Legal high special is coming in april, looking forward to it! And he is also getting married to Kanno Miho. Thye look so nice togetgher, hope they will have a happy life.
