Yes, I think I may have developed a bias, but it's just that I see a lot of the same, and I think this sometimes make it more difficult to appreciate what is new and original. Maybe to some things are not as obvious but when you watch a lot you notice how differently some cliches are handled- though they are still same old situations. I see, I have never thought about it in quite this way Chinese tend to be very elitist in speaking to foreigners, in fact they hardly ever pay any notice to them , especially with regard to household matters. But they are rich people being able to afford the tuition fees (I am currently based in the UK) and acommodation and everything else...they evene xpect their dishes to be cleaned by the housekeeping, because that's what they're used to...results of such thinking are abyssmal. Maybe that's why they aren't afraid to show messy people in their dramas.

no, this one is about something else. I dislike reviews which don't give reasons or analyse, make claims but not substantiate it. Even if I agree with her point of view, I dislike the manner in which it was presented. But that's not the only case, this is a general trend of economic reviews which do not bother analysing anything at all...but maybe I should just relax and enjoy them for what they are lol.

I hope it's nothing too bad? In any case, I'd like to think there is no such bad thing that couldn't produce a good result! So I'm sure things will be fine :) Yeah, I am in a bit of a bad mood these days but otherwise things are peachy :) how are your dramas?

I see! Yes I noticed they are unique, and yes she is attractive. I really like her. Yes lol but I thought she was really well cast as this sort of character and it fits her disposition. Have you watched the Devil? hahaha, the point is QIM was a total people pleaser from start to finish, that's why it instantly turned me off, but since I am like everyone fond of good chemistry I watched it for that. Ultimately, the chemistry was very memporable, so it means the drama did do something well. But the rest of it, the background fell into oblivion...did that story even have a coherent plot? all i remember was a couple of scenes thrown togethere until finally they could kiss. lol.
what, short hair again? I really liked him with that saegku'y long hair in TPM...it will tough to see him play a modern character again lol. well, I hope the story will not be boring or silly. I have an ambivalent attitude to MGY so I also hope she does well.
It is a likeable drama, the main character is very likeable too, he's very kind man- to observe him starting out as a presidential candidate is interesting. That and it also has a love story that has to cross the south and north divide. I really like the advisor figure too. It could have used 20 episodes to deliver the premise in entiriety..the story feels cut off a bit too early and they only dealt with some issues, a lot of issues remains an unusued story potential..Shame. Such a waste of very good cast and good story ideas.

World without thieves sounds like it has a very interesting premise. That and I like Andy Lau too. I really liked Love on a Diet, it was just adorable and so very empowering and encouraging. Thank you for these recommendations! I just picked up Korean peninsula again, because it souns like a similar idea to K2H and because the main actor is underappreciated on MDL- though he is genuine and in general the time is ripe to watch through it. I think it will be another underrated gem on here.
T Yes, I get that vibe sometimes that western remakes just don't get the spirit of the original films and yet are arrogant enough to think they can do it better. This sort of attitude I find really annoying. I do not watch western action films because they tend to be just for the gore loving boys and have little depth. I'm from Poland.

What impressed me is that he actually learned Wing Chun from Master Ip's oldest son in preparation for the role and mastered it very quickly.

I was just rewatching it last week, I enjoyed it so much, in fact a lot more than when I watched it the first time. Maybe its nodame who sucked me out my dramalove lol, it;s one of the top romance stories from Japan and yes she;s such a rookie, you just really want her to succeed. Not to mention the Stressman figure haha. Well, the problem with sequels is that they try to milk the franchise. Not always but...Jewel in Palace already said its story..why a sequele? Oh. by the way did you watch Princess pearl and it's remake? Ip man was a very genuine movie. Donnie is very likeable and his undisputably one of the best martial artists out there. He in fact said stop at the second ip man movie because it seems there is going to be a lot more productions about Master Ip.

Haha! Yes, it's very eye catching. What is it or who drew it anyway? I want to, because like you I really like shin Min Ah, she has this foxy charm about her that is very characteristic. Romance is a tricky thing but I personally like if it doesn't go overboard either way, but I don't mind a little cheese if it's acted and written well. The problem with a lot of romcoms these days is that some scripwriters, but more so in the west, just go by threadbare schemata for a quick buck or two. The best thing about this ending was that it's the sort of "think what you like" sort of ending, so every viewer essentially writes theior wn ending but I really liked this so much better than the ending in QIM which was done to please the fans but didn't have much logic at all.

Your vidid avatar brought me over this time, Omichelle. "Vampire Surgeon? hahaha :D I saw your comment on Arang page..but I am scared of commenting there because I just get frustrated with the defenisve tone of some fans. Clairvoyant reviews are one thing but protesting that people can't have a different opinion about a drama is quite another. I've been growing really frustrated with the defensiveness of fangirls who like to not accept a different point of view. Anyhow, I also read your review of Rooftop, I enjoyed it more than the drama, but I really loved the ending to Rofftop, it was more throughtful that the average ending they tend to serve, I really liked how it sparked a number of theories among those who discussed it.

for about 5-6 years. yes, bad guy is a drama that you need to watch something lighter after that. I liked it because t was a sort of tragic don juan type and kim nam gil, of course, is quite expressive. The same goes for good saeguks- but alternating things like that mostly keeps things fresh, unless you get tired of the formula. That's strange, though I had the opposite impression. But then the Chinese people I meet are also special category...I find Japanese and Koreans a bit more open to international communication, to be honest.

well, ladyhawke is my favourite film so i thought it could be ladyhawje week this week :D Yo too, bokami. I hope your weekend is nice.
Maybe it's both, otherwise "fate" wouldn't become realised. oh the mother of the lead girl is a character which I think you will discover conforms to a certain typical korean drama character type, but not in a very obvious way. Well, I can understand meddling and pushiness in a way that is meant to "promote" children, but not parent types like in boys before flowers or secret garden- the mother there was just too much for me to take, so overbearing. I want to try and watch Repoly but I can;t seem to focus on any drama at the moment, instead I feel like watching something western, but not anything new, an old favourite of mine or two. I don't know when I will go back to dramas, right now I seem to be in this annoying slump and I really can't seem to focus on any particular drama
