aww. I hope you had fun during those 3 days! I am myself ending my free time and going back to hard work next week. I had a lovely summer time so I am also feeling a little regretful now.

LOL. Like three kingdom, eh? :P Well, they do tend to get overdrawn, those dramas, you don;t feel that with MARS because things keep happening but you do get tired of the pace of things. they want to surprise you with this drama but I think the effect is a little watered down. Somehow, Taiwanese dramas or chinese aren't really as well executed as japanese or korean.

Especially since those thigs happen in series one after another, relentlessly and seem to want to build up this tragic image...and I think in this way it becomes overdone. However, the story is very touching and I like the two protagonists.

I think you may not like it, I do get tired of it - but because I find it very touching I want to see the ending. Plus it's Taiwanese, I"m not sure how you stand with Taiwanese dramas? Do you like them?

Welll now that I watched more if it...this is not the best drama out there, but as far as taiwanese dramas go it is good. It feels overdone, there are too many things, tragic things, happening and it really wears me out. But at its core it is a sensitive love story, very emotionally involving, about two people trying to piece together a new life, start together from scratch and have what they couldn't have. It is emotional and at times very delicate. But the drama has too many things in it, way too many, and so at times it gets on my nerves. And yet, I keep watching because it's a story about foundations of learning to move on and finding strength in one another.

I have been watching more of it. I think this is more of a material for either Japense-Korean collaboration or taiwanese. I can imagine the actor from devil beside you in this but other than that it;d have to be someone like Kimutaku, he;d prefect for the role, except hes not korean. But really Vic Zhou and barbie have too good a chemistry and actually I don't think I want to see it remade..this cast worked very well together.

Well I'll try to, I probably may have weekends when I'll be here :) Agreed! Can;t imagine no chcolate! Mars is a bit overdone. Ity has everything and is rich but iut really wears you out. But at its core it's a love story about two people with tragic pasts who need each other to heal and try to be happy, but there are so many things happening to prevent that...there is every possible tragedy/obstacle in this drama. Nagging exes, several tragic events, some mystery and suspense at first...a lot of everything, in short

I reached ep 16 and I really got mad at the drama but I'm not dropping it. Well, the drama does have a devil-type characters, but he's creepy more than sympathethic. The two of them sure have a harsh road. Yes, the first episodes for instance when he looked int he mirror and there was something sinister about it. Well, pacing is tremendou and things are revealedin their own time. tThis won't be my favourite drama ever but I want to see the ending since I hope they can be happy for a change. All in all, this is a love story and a story about coming to terms with the past and pieceing together a new life. It handles the themes well and not unrealistically. I like the chemistry between barbie and Vic and the progress as the characters are changing and changing gradually. I really hope he and his dad can improve communication...and I'm pretty sure ling's mother wasn't easy to be around

well, it's overdone- there's just too much there, but it;s a sensitive love story about two people helping each other get out of their shells pf past tragedies. Oh that's great to hear, but why is it only three day?

o, to baw sie dobrze! no dramy nie zajace nie uciekna raczej a po odpoczynku sadze ze bedziesz miec podwojona energie do ogladania drama :D no i do tego czasu zacna sie nowe dramy. ja naprawde nie wiem jak sie te nagrody w tym roku rozloza za duzo tego. Wylgada to na przesyt oguri shun, albo moze drama zwolnila i pewnie podzyska impet pod koniec juz, jak juz rozwinie historie, to dokona jakies zwrotu. Hahaha ale czasem tez warto byc z drami na biezaoc bo potem latwo wyrobic ieksza liczbe dram :D Wlasnie ogladam MARS...tez bardzo emocjonujaca drama, i chyba jednak najlepsza z tych niewelu tajwa?skich drama, ktore ogladalam do tej pory. No, tu sa ludzie ktorzy i juz po 200 lub nawet 500 dram obejrzeli :D to Ci a chyba professorami Asian Dramas :P Ale dobraze ze mialam chwile na te dramy,obejrzalam pare perelek. bo juz teraz to raczej wolniejsze tempo znowu.

or rather than annoying- written/handled differently. But it deals with so many issues and goes deep, I do wonder what's going to happen next and how will the overall drama feeling turn out to be at the end. There isn;t a moment when something emotionally gripping isn't happening to make me empathise with the characters as they are both trapped within themselves and need each other to get out. Very involving indeed.

I hope you like it. You just have to see episode 11, the finale is really the best review of this drama. It may excessive of me to do so, but I'd like to warn you to please, please don't read the spoiler comments on the legal high page, including my own, as you would be really spoiled for the surprises. I am watching mars at the moment There is an intriguing part about Vic's character but somehow I feel overburdened with the amount of drama in this drama, it feels done in excess. I do midnd the appearance of the ex, she's not very sensible, I accept that she holds the key to the apst but she's getting on my nerves. The drama is rich, that's for sure, and very emotionally involving. I am glued to the screen, though I really think the ex's character could have been a bit less annoying.

Also be warned- I do tend to get carried over with the length of some of my messages. I was also wondering how accurate did you find the legal procedures in Legal High- I thought, for instance, the use of the recording in the copyright infringement case was a bit dubious? Anither high point was Komikado, I found him to be as eccentric as sherlock Holmes and yet somehow heartwamring despite his bad attitude. Must be something about the acting, in part. I really hope to have maaany interesting talks with you in the future. It is very enrichening and does change the way one looks at dramas.

Farah, I'm delighted for your friend request :-) I like to talk and the more sensible people to talk to-the merrier! :D I did check your profile after good luck and I was blown away since you do strike me as a critical watcher and I like that. And then gradually I see you more and more around drama pages and finally I decide to speak up lol. Sometimes I just have a slow reaction but I am always delighted to have more people to talk to. And I couldn't agree more: difference is the motor for discovery! I am currently watching MARS but I'm getting annoyed by it, I think they have made it too dramatic and somehow I have a feeling they overdid it for this drama. The ex has appeared and she's not acting very sensibly, but this twin brother mystery part is actually interesting. The strong point of Mars is its blend of many genres which makes the story rich, but maybe it's all a bit too much.

A teraz gra w Summer rescue i to sobie chyba bede ogladac..ale najpierw koniecznie rich man, poor woman, juz sie nie mgoe doczekac az to sie skonczy bo bardzo jestem ciekawa :D jestem ciekawa jak odbierzesz hungry, mnie sie tam zenska postac w sumie podobala, taka radosna, sympatyzna ale chyba dosc typowa, ale mimo wszystko jakos chyba nie bylam przekonan do tej dramy, ale jesli bedzie kontyuacja to wroce do niej pewnie, ale sadze ze sa lepsze rzeczy do obejrzenia w pierwszej kolejnosci. Jeszcze masz troche wakacji zdaje mi sie wec jeszcze troche mozesz poplaowac tych dram :D ale ja tez juz bym chiala miec wiekszosc z mojej listy "zaliczonych", a lewdiwe pare zdolam obejrzec, chyba jeszcze poodchudzam te moje listy...
