This is the season 2 I didn’t even know I needed. I just hope it’s not too laden down with the whole “will they, won’t they” and that is focuses more on them fighting for each other than giving up and then giving in. I sincerely don’t believe that relationships have to go through a break up then make up phase, but for some reason the entirety of the romance genre seems to find this necessary. It’s really not though. Seeing a lasting love can be just as exciting as when that love began. Romance can be so much more than that 3rd act break up scene! Here’s to hoping season 2 defies the odds.

This has so got me. Hook, line and sinker. I’m so caught up in this. I’ll be counting the days down until the next episode.

It’s officially coming to a platform I can view it on!! It’s really happening! This day really came! I will forever appreciate GagaOOLala for picking up all these Japanese BLs that I’d never be able to watch otherwise… (not legally at least).

I just hope Japan never stops making BLs. For reals though, they do it all and they are my bias standard. Japan BLs can be fluffy, like this one starts out seeming, but can also be like say, Happy of the End. The cutesy or traumatic stories don’t have to ever be just one thing. The fluff has angst and depth and the harshest of them all still make your heart swoon. It’s that combination of characters, acting, story, and care for development that will get you every time. And often times, you don’t even know what you’re in for until you’re already sunk and invested beyond retrieval. Of course Japan BLs can have their fair share of misses, but the hits, they just keep coming.

I’ve been having this issue with Gaga for a while now where I get that same playback error, the only way for me to watch on my tv is to airplay from my phone or tablet. I’ve just been watching on my tablet because the subtitle timing is better there than through airplay. Good luck to you! Hope you get to watch soon!

The original teaser seemed a lot darker and had a more serious vibe. I was surprised by how sort of silly some of the scenes were when I was watching the first two episodes. And from way back in the day it just felt like Boun wanted to make more of a serious sort of show.

I quit scrolling after a few comments because the gist of it seems to be not so great. If you’re here for a Shakespearean epic story, you’re not going to get it, other than a few thou’s and thee’s thrown in there. But if you want a fun watch worth your time, then check it out.

I seriously love this. Don’t get me wrong though, I absolutely hate that gmmtv were the ones to pick this up and how I can just tell they’ve had an impact on the story. I remember years ago and Boun talking about his vampire series passion project that would hopefully be his next BL. From the original series piloted teaser to where this has wound up, it just feels a lot different. But regardless of that, I’m still all in.
BounPrem to the end, baby.
I could care less about where the story goes, Boun & Prem are on my screen again and that makes me nothing but happy.

Sincerely, I can’t thank you enough for replying. I’m pretty familiar with Omegaverse, so that was sort of along the lines of what I was thinking. It just seemed like such an odd coincidence. But I’m totally cool to just roll with it.

Was it supposed to be too dark in each of the rooms and they just couldn’t see the other person? That feels like a stretch though.

Oh man, I’m a week behind in watching and just caught up. But I came here because I’m so confused on how both couples slept with each other but somehow both Sheng & Shen don’t know they slept with Hua Yong & Gao Tu. But dang, I don’t know if anybody in this comment section would be willing to give me an answer on that because is anybody even commenting about this actual show anymore?

What I wouldn’t give for a second season of this show.

I have learned through MDL that there is such a thing as toxic positivity. Didn’t even really know that could be a thing until being here.

I really suck at synopsis, but what I can easily say is that you don’t have to worry about an open ending or cliffhanger ending. It all wraps up nicely with a hea.

I was maybe a bit underwhelmed by the final couple of episodes of the series. But that maybe was also just because of my sadness that it would be ending. Anyway, Revenged Love has definitely become one of my favorite BLs of all time.

It’s a happy ending. Not a dream necessarily. It’s worth watching to see for yourself.
