I haven’t watched the latest episodes, but do you know how many episodes this monkey girl will show up? I accidentally watched a clip (I think it was from Ep 21) and it shows the kissing scene between ah si and monkey girl, so I was just wondering how many episodes this will go on.

It isn’t weird at all! I was actually rooting for them more than the male lead. Yoo Chan and Seo Ri’s interactions are cute. I was kind of wondering if Yoo Chan’s going to like her as a girl not as an ahjumma.

@Ian_Ian I couldn’t agree more about Seo Kang Joon. At first, I thought he was just another flower boy. I watched him in Cheese in the trap, and I admit I just saw him as an eyecandy. But in AYHT, wow, he totally showed off excellent acting skills. I hope Cha Eun Woo would do just as great here. I’m actually happy that he is able to portray the cold and manly vibe that Kyung Suk character needs. I watched a lot of videos of him dancing to girl group songs, so I was worried for a bit if he can be manly. But he didn’t disappoint!

Yes, he’s different in a way that he’s nicer in the drama and that he starts to care for Mi Rae from the start. In the webtoon, I’m quite annoyed at him (actually to all characters), because he’s rude, quite insensitive, and he sometimes ignores Mi Rae. Yes, he helps her out in certain situations, but he acts as if he doesn’t give a f***.

Did you finish it? I just started reading it (I’m on chapter 16) and I’m not a fan of Kyung Suk’s character in the webtoon. He’s a bit harsh and too cold even to Mi Rae. That’s why I liked this drama even more. I loved the few changes they’ve made in the drama especially Kyung Suk’s personality. From the start, you can see that he already somewhat cares for Mi Rae, and he’s nice to her even if he’s cold to the other girls.

Watched it! I loved that they both danced to New Face in Knowing Bros. Cha Eun Woo was just too adorable and perfect. I wish people would notice how talented he is, not just his face.

Oh no, why did I watch this with just 2 episodes in? It was so good and now I am curious about what’s going to happen next. Do you know where I can read the webtoon, while waiting for the next episodes?

Omg I couldn’t agree more! That’s why I try to always look for dramas where the guy likes the girl first, because it’s so cringy to see girls do everything to make guys as stoic as Dong Hua like them. At first, I find Feng Jiu cute, but after some time, her character is just plain annoying.

Well yeah it will make their bond stronger. But there’s going to be so much heartache coming, and we’re only almost halfway through the drama. I just want my OTP to be happy.

Oh I can relate! Sometimes it will take weeks for me to get over a drama. I get so attached that I often dream of the characters while sleeping. Haha. I’m kind of jumping from one drama to another now, so I want to watch this hoping that it will drive me to finish it in one go. Where did you watch these two dramas, btw?

I should stop watching this until I know for sure if the scenes that I hated in the previous versions (such as the evilness of Dao Ming Si’s mom and the forced engagement) are bearable.

I still remember how hurt I was watching those scenes before (Especially Dao Ming Si dating and kissing another girl other than Shan Cai). Please, I don’t want to experience that heartache all over again. I loved how “light” and less angsty this version has been so far as compared to the others, so I hope it remains that way.

Me too! Me too! I love Yang Yang so much but I fell in love with Crystal Zhang (my girl crush!) in Go Princess Go. She’s so cool and I know she’ll be just as amazing here. ^^

I started watching this and I’m regretting why I haven’t watched this sooner. It’s so weird and funny, and as everyone said, this is not to be taken seriously. I have my qualms against the male lead, he’s so stoic and I just don’t like how he can be easily manipulated by the girl villain. I just hate stupid guys like that.

I’m not yet done watching, but I can see now that this drama is going to be among my favorites. ^^
