As for the point, I hate love triangles but I'm glad the writers added him to the story. It stressed the FL's flaw and gave this series a learning lesson fitting of it.
The FL made a massive mistake with the SML in the past. Their relationship is one that should have worked out back then. He didn't deserve that and by the time she realised, it was too late because she'd already moved on. It’s MEANT to be sad - the bigger the mistake, the harder it hits a character.
Understanding this one was the trigger that finally moved the FL. From 27 years of relying on her ears alone … to trusting others even if they’re lying.
A love between a girl who hears lies and a boy no one wants to believe. A story that questions the merit of truth in the face of trust, ability or none.
This was warm and fuzzy. I even loved so many of the side-characters which is pretty rare for me. Which makes me all the more glad for the nice way everyone's story got tied up by the end of it ~
Listen. I bought the Stormlight Archive in their hardback anniversary editions. Holding those bricks around for weeks tired me out so much that I broke it up into sessions reading it online 😭 Comfort before looks 🙌
That being said, I love having a range on the shelf. So both win in truth 💞
hwang inyeop is totally overhyped in this drama! i like him, but i think the character of han seojun is overestimated…
I love him. Just depends on what angle we're talking about it.
I don't see why people ship him with the MC; the show itself never tried to hype him in this way. But as an individual I adore him. He wasn't just "a second-love interest" but an actual character irrespective of JuGyeong. The warmth he treats others with (including Suho and JuGyeong) gets to me. He somehow attached the term "green-flag" to "bad-boy".
But I agree with you. I'm in the same boat as any who love him. But I rarely expect individual characters from dramas to get plenty attention. Same for True Beauty. Yet SeoJoon does.
Moody's Cell: You start a drama, then drop it after 2 episodes. Your PTW is exploding, but you watch a random drama that's not in the list. You rant on the Feeds about how you hate a trope, then next time you know, you choose a drama with exactly that trope. You don't even know what your taste is anymore, but hey, who cares about being put in a box.
The only line that's right is the first one (VERY often). Don't have a planning list at all and I try to only talk about what I DO like because that's all I want to see on my own feeds. And I know my tastes pretty well I think xD

It's a heavy series that consistently punches you in the gut without mercy xD
It's the local ratings in Korea that matter more to the show anyway.
