Just thinking about my dream cast: Xu Rohan as Yi Fan, she is very pretty with a very expressive eyes. And hopefully Victor Ma as Sang Yan, though i know Wei Long will get the role, but Victor has that manly vibe that Sang Yan has in the novel.
Breaking bad × The worst of evil vibes all over the place here. But gotta admit acting is top notch. Shin ha Kyun makes it look so easy to be the clumsy lawyer, while Kim Young Kwang has that aura that is hard to explain, he is just that calm charismatic villain.
Zo In Sung is too hot to handle. Now after stating the obvious, i have to say a few things about this drama. - 8.5/10 for me. - It's very good drama, but not super great. Could've go with 14 episodes only instead of 20 - Too much action scene, excessive violence, and a bit of gore.. some of it were not needed at all. - Repetitive scenes all over the episodes. Why? - Flashbacks everywhere, here and then and all the time that i forgot what the main plot is about. - The main plot was very much delayed to explore. - Acting is superb, from everyone. - Action sequences were very well choreographed, yet i still think they were too long. - Loved the North Korean official, the guy is just a walking container of charisma! - Lighting is a turning off point in this drama, way too dark most of the time.
I know this might be the pov of the director and writer for artistic mere. But that's way too much of a flashback! it's like 8-9 episodes of flashbacks for every character and their backup stories, it's like a puzzle that i have to play to collect the whole image to see. The series draws a lot of similarities with Heros (American show) but it's more focused on its leads and their lives instead of a main plot to follow.
Just started watching, why does it feel there are a lot of deleted or omitted scenes here and there? I mean the boy wz the glasses fighting with the bully, the thunder man's dad death....etc.
I haven’t watched the original. Since everyone says the original is way better, I decided to watch this one…
The 1st 2 episodes of the original are a bit weird, but gradually you will fall for it, the actors were brilliant and more capable than this version, the ML is cheeky, and cute and the friendship between the 3 main leads is very well written. But above all else it's the soundtrack that stands out, all the original's osts and bgms are way much more better and they are definitely on a whole other level. I'm not saying that this one is bad, it's good, but the comparison is not in its Favour. 🫤
The reason Min Ju killed herself was because of Si Heon selfishness.Of course people kept telling her she changed…
Original is way much better and easier to understand and follow. Frankly it's more charming in it's own simple way of production, lighting, narration and above all else the soundtrack is on another level. The guy who was in the bus was Si Heon, meeting her again, but he is now 8 years older than her. But it's a Kdrama, and they can never go wrong with the look of the young ML unless they are trying to make him look older, then the make-up artist and hair stylist will use a weird wig like the one they used! (Kudos to the original for perfect makeup when it comes to that)
so which one should i watch to give me the best experience of this story? the original or the korean remake?i…
SOOD is a NATURAL beauty, while ATCY is more like a plastic surgery pretty one! SOOD is rawer and more natural, with realistic sets and outdoor scenes, while ACTY make you feel as every fallen leaf is well placed in its own position, too much make up, too much perfect outfits...etc. When it comes to acting, ML in the Kdrama wore a big shoe he couldn't fill, While the FL was very good, but she looks old for the role (Taiwanese actress is old too but she has more fresh face and looks younger) The 2nd Ml is good in both versions, but his arc in SOOD was clearer and he had more screen time.
