Cinematography is stunning. It feels like a breath of fresh air. It's a bit slow, yet complicated and full of details. The 2nd ending though is a bit philosophical for my taste.

Painfully great. The only way to enforce the law is by making a big bang to be noticed. And that last scene in the courtroom made me think that the message here is "The law is just a defamed imperfect justice."

I really need to see them together, they are incredibly beautiful and so good actors, any drama they will do will be a super blockbuster. Too sad if she didn't make it.

Remembered it and came back to rewatch. i didn't finish it back then, i think i had exams or something, anyway, the action still looks so good even with today's standards. But the ending is just "meh"

They share good on-screen Chemistry, and i don't mean romance, i can feel the harmony there.

Liu Yu Ning has such a good screen presence. Camera loves this guy, and it's not about the good looking, though he is good looking but not as much as Gong Jun, but he has that personality and swag that steals the eyes of the audience.

Definitely yes, but i kind of hoped it would be tidal and shorter, i liked the story, and the leads, their interaction was vibrant, and it felt like a good comradeship, friendship and later romance. Though it was too long in the last few episodes that i had to skip some scenes in every episode.

We are not talking about romance at all. By Chemistry, we mean good interaction, vibes, may be comradeship between the leads. Something that can exist even between 2 friends , a master and his discipline, a father and son or daughter...etc.

There is no Chemistry at all. And it's not just coz it's a master & discipline thing, it's not about romance, sometimes there is 2 friends or even father-daughter on-screen relationship and the interaction is fire that keeps me interested. But it's too cold here, and the FL is not exactly the best actress to carry off such role.
