I really enjoyed the first episode. It has a good tone, some of my favourite actors and some of those classic tdrama tropes :)

I thought the first half was very good. However, the second half was a fraction too sentimental for me. Bea played a very good role. Worth a look on a Saturday afternoon:)

In the end, I’m not even sure why I kept watching Dodo. I can’t recall watching a show with as much filler as this one. As others have said: it went through a crazy metamorphosis. For me the highlights were the TWD Ladies and Director Chu. Ah Ra did so well in the title roll. As for the ending, well I will leave it up to you to decide :)

Ep 8 was a pure delight. When Ra Ra makes her mind up about something she is straight to the point. Got to love those TWD ladies - a fabulous addition. In fact, everyone is doing a really good job here in DDSSLLS. The comedic timing is spot on!

Yes, I saw that after I commented. I went looking for a reason, but I couldn’t find one, other than, perhaps, ratings. But, I didn’t look too hard :)

Eps 111 - 115 lololol. That’s a hefty sprinkle! I think Eun Jun is cemented in Makjang folklore now :)

Yes, I thought 13-16 were excellent - show has gone to a whole new level!

Faith was another show that had so much potential but became disappointing for me in terms of how it fell away story wise and how it ended.

Ep 11 was perfect pacing throughout!

It’s a shame Alice as a show can’t go back in time or pop over to another timeline and save itself. What was refreshing and interesting to start with has become lost down the rabbit hole. The special effects are interesting and effective. The individual performances are very good. The interaction/friction between the female leads is great, but gets lost in amongst a story trying to figure out what it should be. The Book of Prophecy needs to be much stronger as a plot device. At times, I feel Alice itself is just an afterthought. So, sadly, despite trying to relook through the looking glass, dropped :(

So, after the supreme sacrifice of continuing my watch through to the end of ep 110, what more can I say? It’s pretty much well unfolded as MyDL4ver suggested a little while back. I’m now trying to visualise what the final episode will be like because between now and then there’s a lot of stuff to happen - lol!

Those final scenes and moments were superb, phl. Who would have thought season 2 would be better than season 1? Well, it is in my book. Sublime storytelling with great acting!

The final episode gave me goosebumps and left me with a smile. Bring on season 3.

You were right with the Chairman - lol. That whole story arc is jarring including PJ’s father and his liver for sale.

I just have to accept the fact that what is unfolding now is the writers coming up with a storyline that appeals to those who like this sort of mess (like Scarlett in Search: WWW).

The last five episodes I zoomed through at light speed. I have dropped shows with 16 episodes to go, but the way you are keeping your fingers crossed re the grandfather is keeping me hanging in there.

I suppose PJ’s clothing line will save the day - and why haven’t they sabotaged that yet?

I agree 20 eps is not enough time to tie up all the loose ends unless some key changes happen. I am so disappointed with the Chairman. Then there’s where they spend so much time arguing over family issues at work - more than they do at home - lol. As for PJ’s father - that just brought the whole show down even more. He will probably save the day though!

Thank you for that re Alice. I did think Alice originally, then I thought no, that can’t be it, and I wasn’t going back to double check. I like Alice, and they have stuck to the science, but the whole Mum/son thing is probably confusing everybody :)
