I kind of liked season 1 but 6 ep in season 2, I'm kinda disappointed.. I think it's going down hill

Stupid cliché plot lines: - evil stepsister, who continually schemes and hurts her family and FL, but wonder oh Wonder, nobody makes her responsible at all - Classical misunderstandings, which makes FL seem to be the baddest bad guy. And while she gets punished again and again (before really investigate, if she IS at fault), as started above, the mastermind aka stepsister won't get punished at all (even after clearing up) - evil grandmother - a lot of faceslapping, which makes you wish FL would finally start slapping, too These are really tiring and maddening.. Even though, the basic plot of FL and ML seems nice enough so far (finished season 1)

Yes, I got that part. Nonetheless, in my opinion, the way he portrayed it seemed off (and over the top). It became especially noticeable in scenes in which the character shouldn't have used his fakeness, if you get what I mean.

I didn't read it, but someone else told me Ai Di and Chen Yi weren't a big deal in the novel (I believe they weren't even together) therefore I hope they'll get their happy end in the series 😭
