1-5: More bad than good, 6-10: More good than bad... So usually i start my ratings of completed series at 6.... because Dramas which would be a 1 to 5, i would not complete - i would definitely drop them before seeing all episodes.
I would advise you (of course in a friendly way, sry if it sounds too harsh) to think about how much points you are giving to the series you actually find good. Because it is somehow our (the fans) way to appreciate the actors, the writers, all the work, to honor them - a 5.5 is actually - of course - more devastating :/ (Sometimes its better to go with the flow in order to not damage overall rating of your precious series instead of creating your own rating system and using it at popular rating systems, which will be shown to the whole world - i do that too, having my own rating system in a Textfile, haha ;-))
