Sometimes its hard because older actors play younger characters but when you think about it, Ye Li was only a teenager when she buried pretty much everyone she loved and cared about, close to 50 people by herself and survived by herself on that mountain. This would break even an adult let alone a child.

I like that there were some practical consideration from the FL in choosing CYY over YX, goes well with her overall character. I loved when she told YX that one of the biggest reason she cant be with him is they are the same kind of people.

She actually kills a bear in the novel! I know they had to skip a few things but her raw brawn and bravado doesnt come across to its fullest extent in the drama. Even then, I think TXW is doing an excellent job potraying the butcher girl.
