Saw a lot of comment about:- being bored. I’m not. - Tan Jr behaviour called toxic. Don’t agree. He helped…
So we agree to disagree 😉. I don’t feel like he is indulging her. He is warm, kind and understanding. He wants to take care of her. Although we didn’t get to see her life with ex I can imaginging him being the same but to here (though fake). True, his actions doesn’t help her evolve or develop but he feels genuinely warm. Like a friend who listens and don’t judge.
The red flag moment for me was that he didn’t say: We used to be close or it’s complicated or we used to be together. But he chose to say that they were in the same college. And off course it’s a drama so it’s ment to be dramatic. But for me the dramatic part is him getting jealous and lose his professional cool. Not him lying.
My take on the ending and next ep is that Tan jr. will explain to ML. What’s your take?
Watched the latest eps and read the comments. Wow, busy here all of a sudden!
Saw a lot of comment about: - being bored. I’m not. - Tan Jr behaviour called toxic. Don’t agree. He helped her. She got drunk all by herself. He helped her again by taking her back. He didn’t spend the night in the room. - shipping Miyu with Tan jr. For me ML is the one she likes romantically. You can feel the tension between them. Tan Jr is great but for me it feel one sided. But I’m not against him. - FL still needs a spine. She’s got one! But gladly we have all kinds of different people in this world. She will never be as aggressive assertive as others in this drama. But she is making progress fitting to her character. iRL people don’t change overnight. The real development with ups and downs that’s what I really like about show. ML takes advantage of 2FL. No way! I would say it’s the other way around. I read a comment somewhere that described him as a real manager. And I think it’s spot on. He think in benefits and wouldn’t turn down a profitable deal because it feels ambiguous.
For me the real 🚩of today was ML lying about his connection to 2FL. For Miyu who just experienced lies in the worst form by her ex it got to be a blow. I get it that he was put on the spot. Miyu wasn’t real professional in that scene either. But ML was worse and he really didn’t have to lie.
I’m still enjoying the workplace battles. I get some find them boring, same old etc. But I really don’t mind.…
We are really on the same page about this show! I just watched today’s eps. And now I’m going to read to comments. Hope they will be fun and positive again.
So I’m back and watched 2 eps today. I’m still enjoying this although it definitely has its flaws.I’m sad…
I’m still enjoying the workplace battles. I get some find them boring, same old etc. But I really don’t mind. Curious how she is going to handle the absent director and the very rude colleague.I like the small things. That ML now saves the candypapers. The meal he ordered for her. The pin from the charwoman.I dislike the ex using work to get close again. She doesn’t seem evil but somewhat aggressive. I really hate that the vixen can always talks in a evil way and nobody corrects her.
So I’m back and watched 2 eps today. I’m still enjoying this although it definitely has its flaws. I’m sad the comment section today isn’t constructive criticism or funny rants anymore. 🥲
Liked:- Our newly formed quartet in arms, the way they handled the cured meat swap, the booming business. Really…
You’re totally right. The influencer can work as a catalyst for Miyu. But I hate exes coming back and feeling entitled. Did you watch ‘Love at Night’? That kind of ex. But seems she is not the evil kind (yet).
What else are you watching? And who else wants to see more of the ex-husband. He brings an extra depth of drama.…
I’m watching this and Perfect Crown. Still looking for something I can binge in between but can’t find anything as nice as this. What are you watching? I’d like to see the ex getting more of what he deserves. An even more trashier en egocentric wife, financial difficulties and a bad rep. The hussy (nice naming) gets away with too much in my opinion. She deserves to be fired and get blacklisted. She got a high profile job trough connections, a promotion she didn’t deserve, leaked guest information, put the hotel in a tough spot and treats her coworkers and especially our lovely FL like dirt and she is not held accountable for any of it… Blows my mind 🤯.
Felt like I was in for a treat with two eps today. waited till I had some down time to relax and watch. And in…
Liked: - Our newly formed quartet in arms, the way they handled the cured meat swap, the booming business. Really nice to watch. - The way MC find each other and look at each other when they are not aware of the tension. Then they are so in sync and open.
Disliked: - The ‘accidental’ kiss. Come on, I was aspecting something more mature. Fitting for a rom-com or idol drama the most. But not here. ML memory tot the scene together on the makeshift bed was so much better, mature and so nicely done! - The instant cold after the rain. I saw that I’m not alone. Writers: a cold is a virus, not something you get from a view raindrops. In addition the sprained ankle. The only thing that made that funny for me that is was a male this time. - The influencer with the sunglasses. Childish way to portray that she is some kind of celebrity. Also she is the ex, more reason to dislike.
Felt like I was in for a treat with two eps today. waited till I had some down time to relax and watch. And in a blink of an eye I’m waiting again. Really happy with the comment section so I can slowly let go of today’s eps. I like that there aren’t to many haters here. Likes and dislikes of today in spoiler below.
Only watched ep. 1 and can I just say this is one of the most red flag 1st ep. I have ever seen...heheSo let me…
Wahaha I really enjoyed your funny rant. But I have to comment on 3. Yes, FL and her husband made the choice that she stayed at home. Their choice, their life. Trophy wife feels a bit harsh. We didn’t get to see her life. Maybe she did lot of charity work. Or maybe she looked after her husband and their home. Again, their choice not ours to judge. After 10 years of happy married life she discovers things that are really out of order. The picture taking, the underwear. For us viewers it’s clear right away. Maybe you read the synopsis. But even if you don’t it shows, she is the mistress. But she is in a 10! year long seemingly loving and loyal marriage. You need time to wrap your head around that kind of thing. She wasn’t total oblivious. She just needed time to process. And everybody and their manager were making her doubt her doubt. Their relationship was strained but their was no time to talk or to think even because of the most awful family evaded their home. She had to go into full service mode. The role she was put on to because an other man accepted her in his family. The guilt she must have felt her entire childhood. That with her personality made her the so vulnerable. Then she discovered he cheated for real. Because the mistress didn’t get her way directly the first time she left evidence. She didn’t forgive husband. She didn’t leave him directly but didn’t forgive him either. She was put under so much pressure by that awful family but still chose divorce. After 10 years of marriage and with her personality and the pressure for me that was really quick and decisive. Sorry for the rant back but I really, really love FL!
He is falling for her...his falling...falling hard for her...too late he has fallen for her.
Falling? He already fell and hard. He was falling for her at first sight, learned she was married and left it there. But from the moment they met again, divorced, working together he started falling again and already hit rock bottom a few eps ago!
Totally get it. If it isn’t for you then you should drop it. But she will get better although it’s not in…
His hair is awful here! At first a thought it was the Sahara wind. But in China he still looks like a tornado caught his hair. In some scenes it’s better but then another and it’s back. Really distracting at first but I try not to notice anymore.
