Yeah they do if not great enough to remember. I saw my MDL rating so I knew I already watched. But it still didnāt click. FL made me think of another drama (Double Happiness). I had to go to YT (saw that I watched it) and start the show to remember š«£. I initially really enjoyed this but remember that I found it childish instead of mature in the later eps. But is was a decent watch! I guess I have to search for another show to fill the void between TEoM eps. Any other recommendations? Wishing you a great day, hope you can stay awake š!

Totally get it. If it isnāt for you then you should drop it. But she will get better although itās not in her character and how she is raised. If you like real character development (not the speedy unrealistic 180 turn around), the stories about a corrupt hotel and really really slow burn romance the itās really worth another visit.

Son of Mr Tan. Thought of him as 3ML interested in FL after 2ML scumbag ex-husband and of course ML Kenny G. But a (almost) kiss scene with 3ML??? And I see a 2FL as a new face in the future. I reallly canāt wait!!!

I donāt understand the debt at all. First I thought it was a business debt she was unaware of. But he doesnāt own a business. Later she explains to her parents that the house is his from his parents. But no explanation about the debt. Is it even real? Or a trick from garbage ex? He lives his life like nothing is wrong. The parents are so disgusting. All they want is money. And the mistress, I really have no words for her.
Iām getting started and on ep 4. I really really dislike the FL family. Even more then the garbage husband. The mistress comes in second. Normally Iām all for blaming the cheating party alone but she is a different level of evil. They truly deserve each other. Iāve read al lot of comments saying they dislike FL. I really donāt. Sure she made a choice to support her husband and donāt work. I donāt blame her for that. She did what she thought was the right choice at the time. And after ten years of being devoted (wich is really not easy!) she discovered her husband isnāt the man she thought he was. She was in shock, her whole life a lie. It takes time to wrap your head around that kind of revelation. But she came around really quick. And was decisive in the divorce. Ok she is really being bullied by her family. But to me thatās not being a doormat but being emotionally blackmailed because they took her in. I learned by watching many Chinese dramaās that children should be endless grateful to parents that they are born and raised on a different level then Iām used to here in Europe. When you are raised by people who are not biological related it seems you have to service and cater them whenever, wherever and with whatever. I really hope FL can break free of this society set rule but to me she is no doormat.

I agree with you for the most part. But for me he still shows red flag behaviour. Besides the misunderstandings, not communicating with her, never asking alway assuming and the way he never actually apologizes in words. That all can be his insecurities and the influence of Rong ands Fei. But ep 4 while walking home he calls her unmotivated, lazy, spoiled. For me thatās when he lost me. Because he chose to say those words all by himself.
