wowwwww this is so messed up i am feeling sad for ml ngl his father is a piece of work, his mother off her self and then you meet someone who brings warmth in your miserable life and then you find out you were pawn in their game even if they developed feelings for you idk how show will handle all the novel spoilers i have seen but idk but fl ditching ml might break him because it would be the result of all past trauma and current heartbreak.

i think if i remember correctly someone said FL mother was sort of a gold digger wanting a high life and had abandoned FL and Fl grandma and was dating ML father while hiding the fact that she had a daughter they were gonna marry but FL exposed Fl mother and the marriage didn't went through so in reality they aren't even stepsiblings but you can say in theory they almost were. ( this is what i heard others talk abt i didn't read the novel so if the drama adapt it differently don't come after me jk)

I'll be honest abt kdramas they done modern right although I miss 16-20 episode kdrama days but period fantasy cdrama clears whether they accept it or not

Yeah mdl ratings are getting way too biased ngl it wasn't this bad before. In the past you could trust / believe it now it's just if you follow cdramas you have a watch list you can watch without worry. Ratings are not trust worthy ppl just go to extreme either every thing is a masterpiece or shit no In between 😭😭😭

It's just petty fan wars nothing else lol they think rating it higher or lower here can make the show look worse or good. Tbh I think its not that deep but whatever the ratings will stabilize after a while I am watching the show even if they rate it lower.

tbh yeah like if it was only youth then it might be understandable that we end at high school but the synopsis says a adult arc donot see them fitting it in like last few episodes unless they butcher the adult arc and everything happens offscreen. so yes i want 36 epi thing to be true cuz otherwise we getting a extremely rushed non sense adult arc

Honestly if you wanna milk a show just make it longer I wouldnot have minded a 30-40 episode ashes to crown plus Youku has shows like hidden shadow the eternal fragrance air them ffs

First 6 days and drama will almost catch up to ashes to crown episode count wise.
Youku should take notes honestly. What's the point of lesser episode count if you gonna milk it to the max 1 epi a day
