Title Love O2O
I can't say I loved this drama, nor can I say I hate it. On one hand, I will admit to never feeling bored, but on the other hand, I didn't like any of the characters aside from the ML and his friends. The FL came off too robotic. There were scenes where her character should have emoted, but her go-to facial expression was always a smile, smirk/shrug, and a faraway look. I watched thirty episodes, and I still have no clue what the FL's personality is. All I know is that she's "pretty" because it's mentioned in literally every single episode, and that she kisses like a dead fish. I felt bad for Yang Yang because he was putting in work and she just stood there contributing nothing.

Er Xi was also the worst. She was annoying, gluttinous, loud, and an all-around terrible friend. I could not stand her character at all. Cao Guang was just as bad, if not worse. Toixc, childish, and just a waste of space. He gave red-pill energy.

This drama gets a 7/10 from me. I'll never watch it ever again, but the ost was nice so it bumped it up from the 6.5 it deserved.

Oh Pei Zhen, you brainless idiot! Those punches from ML, deserved!
I'm so glad I never fell for the Pei hype.

I can't believe poor Miles is all the way on third again!! why can't he land ML he's handsome too.
It's just an assumption but I think if he likes a script and it has a good IP he doesn't mind taking support. His role in Flourished Peony where he played a support role got him so much attention and popularity that he's been getting better scripts since then.

This is new and different for Park Min Young, I'm excited, she's been wanting to do a thriller for years.

Finally Ci Sha's character gets the girl. In all seriousness, The Rise of The Ning would have been miles better if his character was the ML.

Somebody enlighten me on how a female-centric drama became an issue when the story’s focal point is the female…
Before this drama aired, it was not advertised as a female-centric drama. It was promoted as both leads having their own storyline. Look at the summary of the drama; nothing about it would make you think that the sole focus of this drama was going to be about the Rong family and their endless drama. I think people have a right to feel some kind of way. And this coming from a person who loves female centric dramas.

This drama is exhausting to watch. Every episode has revolved around the Rong family and their endless scheming. These twists and turns aren't clever to me; they're annoying and overdone. This is a drama that actually needs breathing room because every single episode feels repetitive to me.

Because why is every single arc revolve around the Rong family when everything could have easily been resolved by getting rid of the grandma? Either by stripping away her power in the family or just killing her off.

We could have moved focus onto the ML and his storyline but instead, he's sidelined and basically is playing a supporting character whose sole job is simping after the FL who really gives him nothing but I digress.

Title Almost Lover Spoiler
what's the lore?? I dont even know who Deng Ki is but why did he get backlash? Why did Zhao Lusi denounce??
Deng Ki is a director. When Zhao Lusi was filming this drama she wasn't given a complete script like she was supposed to. She had to improvise a lot of her lines, which made her job stressful and put a huge strain on her. I remember seeing Reuters snap pictures of her staying after work to go over the script withthe director (so just imagine the lack of sleep she'd get during this duration). She would also be on set, and have obvious health issues, but he didn't stop filming and let her go to the hospital until her body literally broke down.

So, as you can imagine, this was such a bad experience for her and I doubt she wants to relive. That's why she has made it abundantly clear that "Love's Ambition" was her last drama on her live.

Also, her former management team (they treated her terribly) would also get a huge payout after the drama aired as well (another reason she wants nothing to do with it).

Title Love between Lines Spoiler
I was just telling someone about this. How does someone talk badly about your wife and hits her and you don't…
Right! I had to rewatch the scene over because I could not even believe it. I saw your comment the other day about the husband starting a business without telling his wife, and you clocked his actions earlier on. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt.

There's something extremely off-putting about the second FL's husband. I feel like he knew that guy's character was slimy and was perfectly fine having the FL entertain him to help out his business. I noticed that he seemed unbothered when that guy was calling the FL all kinds of names and almost neutral when that guy turned his venom to his wife for defending the FL.

But the icing on the cake was the reaction he had after his wife got slapped by that man. In no universe should he have allowed anyone to slap his wife and not put paws on him. And I use the word allow because that guy felt like it was perfectly okay to hit her because the husband didn't defend her when he called her out her name. It's crazy because the ML has only known the FL for a couple of months, and he put hands on that slimy guy the second he saw that he was about to slap the FL.

Can I just say, I love the communication between the leads. Neither of them wants the other to misunderstand them, so they talk out their issues and make amends when they feel like they've wronged the other.

And the way that we're only eight episodes in and they've already had each other's backs numerous times (even before they become friends).

I’m starting to feel less interested in this drama than before and no it’s not the episodes count. I’m not…
The netizens saying it's male centric but the drama feels very much female centric. This drama is reminding me of Yu Zheng's other drama perfect match with the story revolving around the FL's family.

I saw an online post saying we fell in love with FL thru ML's eyes. She was a beautiful human being because ML…
Oh wow, that's very poignant and beautiful. It's making me see this drama in a whole new light.

Person Wang Duo
Why are people not casting him as a main lead? This man is gorgeous and can act his butt off. Every single time he's in a drama my attention is drawn to him over the ML.

I really enjoyed this drama. The FL was mature, gorgeous, and incredibly classy. It's so easy to understand why the ML fell in love with her. She went well and beyond for him and really took her time to get to understand and know him.

On episode 20...I don't really see where the FL's feelings switched for the ML. It's very clear how the ML fell…
I think it's when she stripped away the brother aspect from her brain and replayed back there time together now putting him in the role of a potential lover and that's when it switched for her that she loved him.

I love half this drama, but I refuse to watch the second couple. I ff their parts when I rewatch.
I wish there was an edited version that scrapped the second couple from the drama. It would have been perfect. I swear I had to fast forward every two minutes because they were always on the screen.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what all the fuss was about when it came to this drama. But after binging this for three days straight, I get the hype. This was a 10/10. The romance, chemistry, plot, cinematography...everything was just perfect.
